On the season finale episode of Bringing Up Bates, which aired last week, Kelly takes Gil for an overnight stay at Maple Grove Inn. At dinner, they reminisce about the day they met, Gil's proposal, and their years together (video below).
"You have been such a good husband because you have made our marriage priority, and you have made me feel special," Kelly tells Gil.

The videos are not coming in for me. Just a black rectangle. Very frustrating.
ReplyDeleteThis was a great finale...I watched it three times. I really love this family too :-) I just hope more people get the chance to watch next season.I think we need more marketing for the show and this site as they are both truly wonderful.I wish there were more comments. So far people are being very respectful to this family...even on IG, and that really surprises me. I just hope it stays that way.If I could have one of my prayers answered, I wish that the haters would leave the Duggars alone, they are one of the nicest, happiest, humble folks around. If more families would love each other like the Bates/Duggars do...Well then this world would be a much kinder place.
ReplyDeleteWell said!
DeleteThis is so romantic. You can tell they live following Jesus. God bless this family.
ReplyDeleteTheir family is really spreading out. Where is Tori going to college and what will she be studying?
ReplyDeleteTori attends Crown College of the Bible. :)
DeleteBlessings,
Lily and Ellie
What a beautiful bed and breakfast. It's cute/different to see how they can't keep their hands off each other, even after so many years of marriage. They're always touching, whether they're walking or sitting together. I don't know any other couples in that age bracket who act like that.
ReplyDeleteThis really was touching. What a wonderful, loving couple.
ReplyDeleteI just love this family! Gil and Kelly are such an inspiration and they set such a genuine Godly example for families. May God bless them with many more years of wonderful memories to come.
ReplyDeleteI am a huge Bates and Duggar fan! But alas, I am only able to watch the Duggar Shows on Googleplay. I so wish I could watch the Bates show on Googleplay too!
ReplyDeleteI also check this blog weekly anxiously awaiting the "Michael is engaged!" blog post! Come on Brandon! Didn't you graduate already Brandon!?
He is trying to be financially stable before he proposes. Going to school is expensive!
DeleteGil and Kelly Jo do obviously follow Jesus. I think that they are a great example for Christians, especially seeing how society is headed these days...
ReplyDeleteIf there is anyone like myself that missed The Finale Show it will replay April 9th at 10:00 I looked everyday for it and it says they will have it then. Hope the guide is correct I cry that I missed the show. So excited to see it!!
