As we announced last week, Lawson and Nathan Bates, along with Josiah Duggar, are currently on a three-week medical mission trip in Tacloban, Philippines. The boys are working tirelessly to provide medical supplies and basic care to those affected by the recent typhoons. They are also sharing the Gospel with locals. Here are a few photos:

ReplyDeleteOh such sweet photos. :-)
ReplyDeleteThat's so cool that they could go over there! It looks like Lawson is really connecting with the kids! =)
ReplyDeleteThat's so sweet of them! God bless their efforts! ;)
ReplyDeleteI think it is so wonderful that both families have children with such a ministry mindset. We have such a small population of missionaries in this world that I fear what the future would be like if we didn't try to keep the missionary population up.This day and age with these young kids so desensitized, self absorbed and selfish, its critical that more families try to instill in their children to give some kind of humble givings of themselves to the less fortunate.I thank the Bates and Duggars for doing their part to better this world.
ReplyDeleteThat's great that you're helping the victims of the storm, but the Philippines has hundreds of years of Catholic heritage. They are immersed in the Faith and the Gospel.
ReplyDeleteYes, thank you. My thoughts exactly!
DeleteThe Philippines may have a Catholic heritage, but I'm sure there are still many there who need to really hear and understand the Gospel message.
