On last night's episode of Bringing Up Bates, Gil and Kelly accompanied Michael to Chicago to meet with Brandon Keilen and his parents. While Mom and Dad were away, Erin and Chad Paine stayed with the rest of the kids. In addition to redecorating Gil and Kelly's bedroom, they also did a few crafts. One day at lunch, Erin had the kids create animals with their food.
The kids all agreed that Dad would not approve of this craft, as he does not like to waste food. Erin's response was that they were making memories, so it was worth it. They also ate most of their creations when they finished.

That's cute, but please tell me what that last picture was as I don't have a clue. Lol.
ReplyDeleteI could be wrong, but it looks to me like a tropical scene: two palm trees on sand. :)
DeleteLooks like a desert island to me! Good way of encouraging a healthy and varied diet :)
Deletepalm trees on a beach
DeleteI think it is a palm tree
DeleteI personally ( since I thought they were making faces ) thought that the kiwi was eyebrows, The mix was eyes, and the oranges was a frown?!?!?! You must use a LOT of imagination though. lol
DeleteI Love watching your family! I'm so glad you have a show. It's great to see all the memories!
ReplyDeleteLooks neat!
ReplyDeleteI especially like that last one. Who made it?
Erin, Chad, and the kids.
DeleteVery cute and creative! Love your show!
ReplyDeleteI loved the redecorated bedroom! The Bates are such a humble sweet family. In a time where most families wrestle with looking to buy that latest thing or advance themselves in a materialistic selfish way, this family places their emphasis on being content with what God has blessed them with and finding ways to bless others and not themselves. Such Godly character! Hope you read your comments Bates family and be encouraged.
ReplyDeleteFun! I wish Eri could babysit me now. Kids- wounderful job!
ReplyDeleteI thoroughly watching your family. It's obvious the rigidity & fear is minus from the children. I see a plethora of love & support. I don't see those qualities or traits in another large family that was once on a reality program. The Bates are just a likeable & refreshing family to watch.
