Spreading Joy Through Music

Lawson Bates, 23, recently visited East Tennessee Children's Hospital in Knoxville to spread joy to young patients through music. In the following video, Lawson sings "Rocky Top" and "Amazing Grace" with a couple youngsters. Do you recognize the guy on the right who accompanied Lawson on his visit to the hospital? (Hint: His initials are JD.)

    These two guys do amazing outreach. That's so special in young people. It's such an unselfish thing; but, I bet both those young men would say they received so much from those to whom they were reaching out. Our future is in great hands with young people like those two.

    It was so nice that Lawson went to the Children's Hospital in Knoxville to sing for them . It shows how Lawson was raised to be a good Christian . WE are suppose to share our talents , money and whatever we have with one another .

    That's why I like the Bates.. Lawson doesn't have the best voice, but he is humble to be himself and bring joy to others.
