Gil presents Judson with his birthday present
Judson turns five and is thrilled to receive a brand new bike for his birthday. He's getting bigger but still needs some encouragement to take off the training wheels and hit the road. Meanwhile, Erin heads to Nashville to record a Christmas album with fiddle player Andy Leftwich. Back at home, Lawson, Nathan, and Trace get a visit from a couple of trick riders from The Dixie Stampede and learn some tricks of their own.

We'll have to wait and see about this episode. My thoughts after reading about the episode was, "Why encourage him to ride without training wheels; he's only 5." Maybe boys are expected to ride two-wheeled earlier. My girls didn't ride until about 7, and I was about 12 or 13 when I actually learned since there were no training wheels then.
ReplyDeleteI'm a girl, and me and all my siblings started riding without training wheels at about 5 or so.
DeleteDo remember that some kids can do it early. I think I was riding with out training wheels about Judson' s age. Besides, he asked for them to be put back on.

Judson won't forget that birthday anytime soon, and to have it all on camera no less.
