Celebrating Christmas Bates-Style


In this deleted scene, the entire Bates clan gathers together for the annual family Christmas party. This is a year of many firsts, including the first Christmas that Michaela and Brandon Keilen are celebrating as husband and wife, the first Christmas with granddaughter Allie Webster and grandson Carson Paine, and Nathan's first Christmas with girlfriend Ashley Salyer.

    I see why they may have deleted. Too much of the real meaning of Christmas. Great idea.

      I think he meant that UP deleted it because there was too much mention of the real meaning of Christmas. If that's what happened, that's a shame.

    Nathan & Ashley will certainly either be engaged or married by the end of the year! Kaci Bates and Brooklyn Paine will be celebrating their first Christmas holiday. Hopefully more courtships are coming up in the future and I'd love to see John & Alyssa and Michael & Brandon announce pregnancies before the year is over. :)

    I would be impressed to see an adult Bates move out on their own and enjoy some independence before getting married. That would certainly be a first!

      Missionary trips. In paticular they both seem to have a heart for the Philippines.
