Isn't Tori 19 or almost 19? Alyssa got married at 19 so obviously it's not too young. I will say she doesn't seem like someone who would want to marry soon. But as far as having a boyfriend, it makes sense: she's pretty, smart and has a fun personality. The fact that she attends college and has the chance to meet guys there makes sense too although none of the others have met their significant other that way.

DeleteI got married at 20. I am not part of any religious movement. I just met the man I wanted to marry earlier than some others. Just because we were 20 doesn't mean we should've waited 10 years so we'd be "old enough" by an arbitrary standard. We have been married twelve years abd both completed higher education and advanced training after marriage. How boring if everyone did everything on the same time schedule!

ReplyDeleteYeah, at first I wasn't sure exactly what John said. I'd THOUGHT that maybe he said "You're not a boyfriend." (as in like she's not a guy and he'd probably spend more time with a guy friend in Bates family. But the more I listen to it, I'm thinking he DID say something like "you've got a boyfriend." 😊

DeleteIt's obviously not impossible, but we are not in middle school anymore, where if you're talking to or about someone of the opposite sex there must be something romantic going on. They might very well be just friends!

ReplyDeleteI had been wondering if maybe Tori had a boyfriend, as she didn't seem to be on this last season that much; however I didn't know if she might not just be busy at school. I was thinking it was probably a boyfriend, though. Can't wait to hear more about that, if its true. Tori seems like she is always happy.

DeleteI heard or read that she's staying home to help the family adapt to the recent changes. Maybe that's just been in the last months of last year though, and now she's back. But i do remember reading or hearing she was taking a break.
