Bates Go Mudding

"The boys were definitely trying to see who could do the most dangerous things and not kill themselves. Nathan was the worst, of course."

-Tori Bates

This week on Bringing Up Bates, the family gets down and dirty on a mud-covered four-wheeling trail. The younger children are thrilled to be able to join the action on their kid-sized ATVs, and the older ones enjoy doing crazy stunts (well, at least the boys do).

Scroll down to see snapshots and an extended scene.

The show starts at 9pm ET/8pm CT tomorrow on UP. In addition to their mudding adventure, the Bates also receive a visit from sister Michael Keilen and her husband, Brandon Keilen. (Click here to watch the Keilens meet Kaci Lynn Bates for the first time.)

  1. Extremely dangerous "toys". Far too many people where I live loosing their lives or on quads every year. Has to be better ways to expend your energy. Productive ways.

    1. Life is full of danger. Far too many people lose their lives in car accidents. Doesn't mean we should revert to horse and carriages. Main thing is not to be TOO reckless and to never drive impaired!

  5. I didn't even watch this episode. I thing this episode was gross. It should have be just the guys going mudding not girls. Girls don't play in mud.

My niece and nephew said that is gross

    1. Yes girls play in mud. Especially girls from East Tennessee. Sorry you don't like girls having fun.

  7. Girls should NOT go mudding? Good grief. The 1800's are calling and it wants it's backwards thinking back. Good for them. Girls can do it too!
