In this deleted scene from last Thursday's episode of Bringing Up Bates, Erin Paine finalizes the details for Kelly Bates' 50th birthday celebration. The entire family (including the Websters and Keilens) is headed to a cabin in Chattanooga to honor the Bates matriarch. Have you ever been to Chattanooga?

I have and I have to say my favorite activity there is visiting McKays Bookstore. I love it !
ReplyDeleteI live in Chattanooga and McKays is my fav place too ;)
DeleteThey already live in a big cabin in the woods in Tennessee. Can't figure out how going an hour down the road is special?
ReplyDeleteThe rental cabin is likely a tad more luxurious than their own home. Also, there is probably more room to accommodate the whole family, including the in-laws and grandkids. You don't have to travel far from home to have a memorable time.
DeleteIsn't it the thought that counts! Don't be so negative.
Deletewhat is the name of the cabin? looks like a great place to have a small woman's retreat.
DeleteBecause its different. Any getaway is better than home. :)
DeleteThe cabin actually looks like it is just outside of Cha in a place called Dunlap. Not for sure. I would love to know where the cabin is for sure too. Plus they visited some places I have never been. I have lived here for almost 9 years.
DeleteThat's very sweet of them to do things like that for their parents.
ReplyDeleteThey did a very good job raising those kids
I live in the CHA and moved here from TX just over a year ago. Love, love, love it here!
ReplyDeleteYes! I love the aquarium there! The penguins were adorable.
ReplyDeleteRuby Falls, Rock City, and Lookout Mountain were all really fun to visit.
ReplyDeleteChattanooga is a great place to visit. I love living there.
ReplyDeleteHI Lily and Ellie, I have a question for you. In the first episode of the new season, the girl Courtney was seen again. Who was the other girl with her and do they live with the Bates? They are in most of the episodes and if they are assisting Kelly with school, they sure do keep long hours. Thanks
ReplyDelete@Lily and Ellie, do you know the answer to this????
DeleteHi there,
DeleteWhich scene in the episode are you referring to?
Lily and Ellie
I live an hour away from Chattanooga. Where is a cabin to rent?
ReplyDeleteHow fun for them that the whole family was about to get away for a celebration! Chattanooga is a lovely place!
ReplyDeleteI live in Chattanooga!! It's an amazing city!
ReplyDeleteHow can the young married afford to travel so often? Doesn't add up to me. Airfare isn't cheap. They don't always drive. Also, how can the husbands keep taking time off from work?
ReplyDeleteSimple. TV show = $$$$$$$
DeleteThey don't do a reality show for free!
DeleteReality tv pays good. :) This isn't badly meant, it's just that you should take into consideration that they don't just have their "normal" jobs, they also have their tv gig. Sometimes they travel for or to Up tv, and in this case I guess the rip is paid by Up.
DeleteAnd in general you can see that Chad doesn't always travel with them, just as Whitney and Zach, and I guess that is because of their job obligations... Nathan works for his dad, so I guess that if it's for a family trip he's excused, and Lawson, well... While he's pursuing his musical career he can manage his time freely, I imagine.
Amazing interactive children's museum there!
ReplyDeleteI was born and raised in Chattanooga!!!
ReplyDeleteI live in Chattanooga! I could be living under a rock, but where around here is there cabin rentals!? That could be a nice, family "staycation" for us!!
