Webster Sisters

Lexi Mae Webster is one week old! She was born Thursday, January 26th, at 7:20pm, weighing 6 pounds 2 ounces and measuring 20 inches long.

Older sister Allie Jane Webster made her grand debut on Saturday, April 11, 2015. She weighed several ounces more than her little sister (6 pounds 11 ounces) but also measured 20 inches long. Do you think Allie and Lexi look similar?

For those who guessed Lexi's arrival date, birth weight, and birth length, we have the winners. So many of you were so close!

Karol, JJ, Emma, Norma, and Mum-2-8 correctly guessed the arrival date of January 26th, which also happened to be Australia Day. Verna and an anonymous reader nailed the birth weight (6 pounds 2 ounces), while Verna and Piper came up with the right birth length (20 inches).

  3. Why do some parents feel the need to put big ugly bows on their girls?

    1. It's a Southern thing. I never see that in NJ where I live.

    2. The bows are only ugly in the opinion of some. I never did the big bows, but you can believe I did bows all the time when I finally had a girl after 3 boys!

    3. I agree, I really dialike this trend time will come when they enjoy dressing up and I think those little babiea can do whithout all this poking and proding, they just need safety, warmth and not to much sensoric input.

    11. I've seen plenty of bows in Los Angeles, so I think it just depends on what the parents like.

  7. @anon 1:16 so others will know what gender a baby is. My sister had a boy and lots of people thought he was a girl.
