Double Bates Birthday, Take 3

 Alyssa, John, and Allie Webster

Every year, the Bates family celebrates four double birthdays. Today, Carlin Bates is turning 19, and Allie Webster is turning two.

Currently attending Crown College, Carlin enjoys cooking, singing, playing piano and violin, and working with the children at the Bates' church. She is very animated (as viewers have noticed), and her family says she is full of initiative. Her favorite foods are Mexican and Japanese, and she is currently in the "get-to-know-you" stage with boyfriend Evan Stewart (no official courtship yet).

Allie Jane was an easy baby but has turned into a busy, talkative toddler. She loves her little sister, Lexi Mae Webster!

  1. Happy birthday cute little Allie Jane and Carlin. Carlin is one of my favorites to watch. I noticed that Tori use to act just like her but now she's a little more laid back. But anyway I hope you girls have a wonderful birthday!

  2. This is quite a major change for Carlin. I thought she was attending a Christian online college majoring in Liberal Arts. What is she studying at Crown?

    1. At the top of the page you can click the arrow by "bates blog" and they have a birthday page that lists all the birthdays in the family.

  9. Glad she's taking some kind of classes, but it's a shame that's the only school she's allowed to attend. Why is that? The Bates parents received a real secular university education and both graduated with 4 year degrees and didn't convert to atheism. It can be done. So, as they are living proof of that, why are they so afraid to let their adult children live in the real world and attend school?

  11. Perhaps Crown is the only school they can afford. With their policy of not incurring debt, student loans are probably out of the question. Also, they can live at home while attending to save money.
