Erin Paine, Carson Paine, Brooklyn Paine
We have some good news to share to kick off the weekend! After almost one week in the hospital, Brooklyn Paine is going home.
She was admitted because of an infection in her finger and had surgery Sunday morning. Brooklyn will celebrate her first birthday in nine days.
Doesn't the photo above just melt your heart? Twenty-six-month-old Carson sure does love his little sister!

Praise the Lord! God is so good! I understand little ones in the hospital. My daughter spent many days in a hospital. I will pray for her continuing healing.
ReplyDeleteWas a cause of the infection ever determined?
ReplyDeleteNo, Erin said they will probably never know.

ReplyDeleteOh it does melt my heart! I'm continuing to pray for complete healing for Brooklyn. I'm so happy she's okay.
ReplyDeleteTHANK YOU JESUS!!! Glad to be able to rejoice with you and your family!
ReplyDeleteSorry but please don't say 26 months old but the two year old. Counting month as an age stops when the child turns 1.
ReplyDeleteThank you! This drives me nuts! Also when people are still counting weeks!
DeleteNot where I live. Many children have their age, at least until their 3rd birthday, given as # of months. Don't see what the issue is.
DeletePlease don't turn a moment of joy and thankfulness into a petty argument. Thanks and God bless
DeleteWhy do you have to be so critical?
Delete@4:42 perhaps in the US its normal, I'm Dutch so it's sounds weird to me, that's all.
Delete@4:50 it's indeed a happy moment and I'm not talking about that part of the story. I personally think it's weird to count the months after a childs turns one year old. You don't celebrate 24 months but 2 years that's what you put on the cake.
@5:39 I'm not critical it just reads funny to me.
@3:11 Counting in weeks?! Even after 3 months? That's funny.
DeleteI agree with Anon july 29 4:50 p.m. Please! This is a moment for a halleluYah not a silly argument!
DeletePraise the Lord! Thank you Lord for your mercies and your grace!
ReplyDeleteHardest thing in the world is to watch a child hurt or suffer in any way. So thankful to God she is doing better.
ReplyDeleteGod is Good!
ReplyDeleteSo thankful, Jesus!
ReplyDeleteI love Brooklyn's and Carson Blonde hair it's so cute.
