Bringing Up Bates “Newlywed Edition”
In today’s newlywed edition, the Bates couples play a light-hearted guessing game to see how well they know their spouses.
Tori and Carlin lead the game as lively hosts to quiz Zach and Whitney, Michael and Brandon, Erin and Chad, and Alyssa and John.
The categories are: Bad Habits, Favorite Candies, Places to Vacation, Favorite Type of Shoes, Best Gifts, Closest Bates Member, Splurge Item, Number of Children, and Dream Job.
When Michael and Brandon can’t find any faults with each other, Tori quips, “They still have on rose colored glasses.”
On the question of the best gift Zach has given, Whitney answers, “His heart, my ring, Pandora Charms, Hawaii trip….there are too many to count.”
When answering about what item Erin would splurge on, Carlin says about the couple, “I think he’s more right, he knows you better than you know yourself!”
John tells Alyssa, “How ever many (children) you want to have is how many I want to have.”
Talking about the number of children they want, Erin declares, “Not 19, not 18, not even 17 or 16! No teens!”
Oh Erin don't say no teens. Your children will become teens themselves within the next 11 years.
ReplyDeleteErin was talking about the NUMBER of kids, not the AGE of kids. She doesn't want 13,14,15,16,17,18,19 kids. No numbers in the "teens", not teenagers
DeleteI believe,Piper, Erin was referring to not have the amount of children that would put them in the teens such as her family and The Duggar's. Wise words.
DeleteI took it to mean she wanted less than "thir-TEEN" children. :)
DeleteI think she was reffering to the number of children, not their age. She does not want to have 13, 14, 15, etc. kids.
DeleteShe didn't say no teenagers. She doesn't want 13, 14, 15, etc children.
DeleteI think you misunderstood. She was saying that she doesn't want a number of children that reaches the teens (13 kids or higher).
DeleteI think she meant that relating to number of the kids which I figure she meant less than 13.
DeleteShe meant number of children. :)
DeleteErin meant that she didn't want the NUMBER of children she has to be in the teens, NOT that she doesn't want her children to ever BE teens!
DeleteI think she meant to say she will not have a number in the teens for the amount of children she has...
DeleteI'm pretty sure she meant the number of children to have.
DeleteI believe she meant the amount of children when she said "teens." For instance, no number of children in the teens (11, 12, 13, 14, etc.). I don't think she was referring to her children's ages. It was just how many she might have. 😊
Deletei believe she meant she didnt want to have x-number of kids that number into the teens
DeleteThis episode was filmed long before it aired. Tori still had her braces on and the couples only had one child each.
ReplyDeleteI noticed that too
DeleteThat was a cute episode. Thought it was strange that Brandon and Michael weren't asked many questions.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE LOVE this show, BUT this episode was the MOST BORING one EVER!!
ReplyDeleteI'm with you. I thought it would be fun, but it just seemed really repetitive. I didn't watch the whole thing, which is not like me at all.
DeleteI just noticed in the header the picture of Lexi is a more recent one than Brooklyn so it makes Lexi look older than brook
ReplyDeleteThat was so funny. No teens! I'm with her. I can't even imagine 9 kids, let alone 19. My 2 sons were sufficient blessings for me.
ReplyDeletePiper,
ReplyDeleteErin didn't mean that she doesn't want teenagers. She meant that she isn't trying for her quantity of kids to be in the "teens"...13, 14, etc.
erin was too funny about not having 19 kids! although, if anyone, i would think tori would be able to handle 19 easily after watching her in self defense class, lol!
ReplyDeleteI think she's referring to the number of kids, not age. She doesn't want 13+ kids
