Kelly Bates: "Thinking of traffic in downtown Chicago, that just terrifies me."
Gil Bates: "No, that is not your cup of tea."
It's no secret that the Bates are small town folks, but with Michael and Brandon Keilen living in Chicago, they now make frequent trips to the area. Sometimes, they even venture downtown. In this preview of Thursday's new episode of Bringing Up Bates, Kelly, Michael, Erin, Tori, and Carson take on the Windy City.

Chicago can't be that bad to drive in when they are in a little van. I used to drive an 18 wheeler in Chicago, so I know. At least, they were together. I was a single woman by myself:-)
ReplyDeleteI was raised in Los Angeles so I know what they mean about the traffic. YIKES!
ReplyDeleteNow we live in a small town in AZ with very little traffic and we only go into the big city or (town as we locals call it) when necessary. Too many cars!
I'm in Los Angeles and love visiting my relatives in small town Arizona. I know exactly what you mean.
DeleteHey, I don't drive in Chicago either and I'm from Il. I just hope Carlin doesn't scream like she did when they were teaching Josie or Katie (?) to drive.
ReplyDeleteCarlin didn't go to Chicago the only ones that went were Kelly, Erin,Tori and Carson.
DeleteI and corrected.:)
DeleteAlso, I'd think Michaela would drive since she lives there.
ReplyDeleteI've never seen Michaela drive. Maybe she doesn't drive for some reason.
DeleteI'm a city girl through and through. NYC is my favorite. The buildings are skyscrapers. Beautiful architecture. You can most definitely see the sky, and you are never bored just watching grass grow.
ReplyDeleteI'm a country girl, through and through. I'm never bored and don't have time to sit and watch the grass grow!
DeleteOk.
DeleteScariest city driving moment for me was arriving in Chicago at RUSH HOUR by myself! It was awful! Drivers do not cut you any slack!
ReplyDeleteA lot of people I know said driving in Chicago is bad.
ReplyDeleteI would be afraid to live in Chicago with all the shootings.
I never been to Chicago even though I live 4 hours west of Chicago.
