As we shared yesterday in our "Exciting Bates Updates" post, Trace Bates and Carlin Bates are in New York City this week with the Crown College Choir. They have been traveling around to various iconic sites, sharing Christmas music with both sightseers and New Yorkers.
Below is a video of photos and clips from their first day. Do you see the Bates?

ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I love seeing young people lift up the name of Jesus.

ReplyDeleteThank you Lily and Ellie for posting. Really liked to see this video. I think I saw Trace but couldn't see Carlin.
ReplyDeleteOur adult children went to Christian Schools in Owensboro, Ky & went to Supreme Court to keep them open many years ago under the direction of Dr. C Harry Rudasill at Harvest Baptist. We won the court battle. I am so thankful that the Bates family contribute to spreading the gospel on television in the way that they live. They are truly an inspiration. Christian colleges are a lighthouse to the educational system. Our eldest son graduated from Tennessee Temple University & our middle son is a minister at Graceland Baptist Church in New Albany, In; also has SOE ministry. Our youngest son, age 39, had same potential; but chose another route. We continue to pray for him to return to the Lord's direction. Merry Christmas!!
ReplyDeleteMy son had a wonderful education at a major midwest university. It prepared him for his job in materials science research. There are many fine public colleges and universities. Crown College has a very poor record in graduate job placement. Potential students should be very careful by checking grad and job placement rates, as well as accreditation, of any college they are considering. Were you expecting that both your sons go into the ministry? It's not for everyone.
DeleteThese two young people are a good inspiration for their peers!
ReplyDeleteNo I didn't see Carlin or Trace in the video
