Happy Saturday! I (Ellie, your faithful blog author) have a fun surprise for my readers.
Today marks the start of an exciting new partnership between myself and UP. The network is introducing a video series called the Bringing up Bates Fan File and has asked me to host.
Following each new episode of the show, I’ll have a new Fan File video to share with you all. I’m thrilled about this partnership and eager to show you the first installment (below).

This is so cool Ellie!! I'm looking forward to watching each week. Congrats :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Ellie!! This is exciting!! Watched the video and you did a great job. I have always enjoyed your written episode summaries. Now I can watch a video of you telling us all about it. I think that is even better!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the new partnership, Ellie! I am really looking forward to your videos :)

ReplyDeleteCongrats Ellie on the partnership with UP also you look like Anna Duggar in your photo.
Love the bates family. I try to never miss an episode. Love your blog also. Was a little disappointment with York's attitude on cake and other wedding plans. Maybe it was nerves but rudeness is not a Bates.
ReplyDeleteWho is York?
DeleteOh...TORI. Just a typo, now I see.
DeleteWhat a great idea ! I'm happy because I can understand what you're saying, you speak slowly and clearly, I'm Lucky because English is not my native language. Thank you! GĂ©raldine (from France)
ReplyDeleteVery nicely done, congrats on your new gig with UP. We don't get UP, so I hope you will continue with the Blog as well. As far as your question if I could plan a Bates-sized wedding in just three months, my answer is NO. But our weddings are very detailed with appetizers and drinks, sit down 3 or 4 course dinner and dessert, open bar, speeches, hiring a DJ for dancing, 11pm buffet of foods and desserts and coffee/tea, and this all requires very early reservations for these services. Planning is usually minimum ONE YEAR here.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Ellie, on your new gig! You did great on the video above, and I can't wait to see future ones. Also can't wait to see your comments about going dress shopping with Tori -- her dress was beautiful! -- Meg
ReplyDeleteFun! Do you plan on having any exclusive content in the future for these videos?
ReplyDeleteI’m a little confused. What will the fan file be about? I watched the video but Ellie just did a synopsis of the last episode. I thought the fan file would be more? Or will it only be a synopsis of that weeks episode? Sorry if I missed something....
ReplyDeleteHopefully that's just the "starter" video and they will come up with some new content as time goes on.
DeleteNo captions :(
ReplyDeleteLoved it! Great job Ellie and congratulations!!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Ellie!
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited about your new
relationship with UP network. I hope it goes well. You are so precious and you look so sweet on film.It feels like, "I knew you before you hit the Big Time!" LOL
I can only speak for myself. But, you have made me feel like a friend and you show how much you care about everyone that responds to your blogs. So, I hope that you are successful in this endeavor as well as everything else that you do in the future. Thanks for letting me be a part of your amazing journey, my 'friend'
I bet Mr.Handsome is over the moon with pride and joy.
Your countenance really shines on camera. When will UP TV make a series dedicated to,
The Nashville Wife and her
Mr.Handsome? I'd watch!
Hi! Good luck with your new gig. I I love the Bates family and I am excited to have another format to learn more about them. IIcome from a community where it is very common to plan very large weddings during the time-frame of a three month engagement. It is a vet hectic time, and sometimes not everything gets done in time. It is extra stressful because the bride needs to buy a Wig as well, because women cover their hair in our community, after they are married. I think there are benefits to a long engagement and to a short engagement, and I prefer when the community tradition is that each couple or family makes the choice that works best for them. Nathan's Lake party sounds fantastic. Men need their clubs. I have not posted in a while because I figure they have a lot of fans, so do they need another comment? I watched the pre-show YouTube clip with Erin and her husband and the parents discussed how much encouragement they get from fan feedback. I love their show. It is a blessing and inspiration to watch and how they invite us to learn from and be a part if their lives. I live in Israel and I love meeting with Christian visitors and tourists, sharing and showing them the Holy land. If I they decide to come I would love to help them prepare their trip and join them on some of their explorations and travels. Avishagbatshunam@gmail.com
