It seems to be a problem with Google Chrome. I can open the Duggars Blog if I use Microsoft Edge instead. But I'd rather use Chrome

DeleteI thought the updates were finished by Saturday night, but it turns out they weren't. Everything should be working now. Can you check and tell me if everything looks good on your end? Make sure your computer doesn't add an 's' to 'http' when you're typing the web address in.

I did some updates over the weekend, and that caused a few issues that I'm currently working through. To access the blog, just copy and past this link into your web browser: www.duggarfamilyblog.com
DeleteThe website won't work if you type https:// before the url, but it will work if you type http:// before the url. (So make sure your computuer doesn't try to add the 's'.)
The blog should be working on any browser (although I don't recommend Internet Explorer, as it is on its way out and has many bugs.)

Good to know it's not just me who had trouble with the Duggar blog, I was wondering if I did something to get banned. ;-)
DeleteIt looks like the issue is only affecting the Duggar blog because right now the site is not classified as "not secure" per Chrome, while the Bates site is classified as "secure". So using https will work on the Bates site but not the Duggar site.
Hi Ellie, I usually use my phone to check your blog but I'm still getting the error message. I tried using http that you mentioned above but it defaults back to https?? I'm not very tech savy but is there anything else you can suggest? Thank you.
Delete5:41pm on 4/2. Still down. Error says the site closed the connection unexpectedly. Other sites still working ok.
DeleteI can't get on to the blog either (on my phone) but it will let me click on the most recent two pictures that come up below, its not ideal but can at least read the post and comment if I want to. My husband is very techy and did all the troubleshooting recommeded to solve it to no avail, so the problem seems to be at your end.

ReplyDeleteEven Michaela was there? That photo looks like Zoey's face hadn't even been washed yet from delivery. Don't these people give anyone space?
ReplyDeleteMy understanding was that Michaela was in the delivery room with them. Today, the verniy caseosa is often not washed away as it sinks into skin after a while (it is supposed to be good for the skin I think). They just give the baby a fast clean with a wet towel from blood and stuff.

Did you realize that Zoey and Everly are first ones born in March on the Bates side Like Henry was the first one to be born in February on the Duggar side since Grandpa Duggar died.
