Ellie and Tori
Tori has her hair and makeup done before beginning to try on dresses
When they have some downtime, the ladies enjoy the shops of Mt. Sterling
Tori tries on a couple pure white gowns, and while some of the other ladies really like them, Tori isn't thrilled.
When she comes out of the dressing room wearing "the dress," Tori is beaming. With a layer of champagne underneath shear lace, it isn't your traditional wedding gown, but Tori loves it. Kelly says it would work perfect for a candlight service, which is something that Tori and Bobby are considering. Tori requests a few changes, including a little bit of "bling," buttons all the way down, a longer train, and a lower neckline.

Tori's wedding dress is gorgeous! I love it.
ReplyDeleteI love Tori's choice in gown. Its very nostalgic looking. She makes a beautiful bride. Congratulations Tori and Bobby.!!!
ReplyDeleteTHANK U ELLIE!!!!!! THAT DRESS TORI, IS AMAZING, IT IS MY FAVE DRESS, OF ALL THE DUGGER GIRLS, AND THE BATES GIRLS!!!!!! IT'S BEAUTIFUL!!!!!! Sorry for the caps, but I wanted to make sure U saw it!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI agree. Love Tori's dress but... Jinger Duggar's was amazing too.
DeleteTori is so pretty, also her mama's twin!
ReplyDeleteShe sure looks gorgeous in all the dresses!
ReplyDeleteLove that dress! So elegant with the long sleeves. Also love Tori's hair. She had her hair up and her dress is amazing, a bit like Jinger Duggar Vuolo. Their styles are my favorites of all the Bates and Duggar weddings.
ReplyDeleteNice dress. But not very modest.
ReplyDeletethey made improvements since this dress was purchased
DeletePretty dress
ReplyDeleteWhy do I feel like this is the first time in all of the Bates and Duggar weddings that someone has asked for a lower neckline? ;-) I noticed the neckline when I saw the show this week, and thought about how much more progressive (for lack of a better word) it was than others, but it still turned out plenty modest and very beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI was going to comment on the same thing. First time for me ever hearing someone from this clan wanting a lower neckline. But there's a first time for everything, I suppose :)
DeleteI'm so glad Tori got the gown she wanted and that her family was supportive. In the end that's really what matters. But it always makes me a little sad that she didn't choose dress number 3! Though she looked beautiful in them all, I thought she look by far the most stunningly beautiful in that one.
ReplyDeleteAnd not that it matters in the least but I think they should have had a destination wedding at a beach in Florida. Small group of family and close friends, in a place that was sentimental and meaningful to them both, without any of the frills that Tori clearly didn't care about. But since it wasn't my wedding I don't need to approve. Like I said I'm glad Tori and Bobby got what they wanted!
Can you make a before and after post of Tori's wedding dress?
ReplyDeleteIt seems funny that Tori is always thought of as a bit of a Tomboy and didn't seem too interested in the wedding details, yet she has had the most sophisticated of all the girls' wedding dresses. Me thinks Tori knows a lot more about what she likes but is not comfortable acting too girly. Great choice Tori! You are stunning!
ReplyDeleteShe is beautiful. I love that she didn't get just a white gown. So excited for the wedding.
ReplyDeleteEllie is so pretty :) I always wanted to see a picture of her with one of the Bates and here it is!
ReplyDeleteYou're so kind! Your comment made my day. :)

I thought Tori's dress and the white trees were so gorgeous!! She looked great in each dress but I loved the touches Renee put on the one she chose. Love the Bates family!!
ReplyDeleteTori seems much more relaxed and easygoing in these casual snapshots, compared to the TV footage. Thanks for sharing them!
ReplyDeleteRenee is a very smart business woman. Donating the cost of a gown - even a custom one - for this level of exposure on TV is a fantastic marketing investment.
