This weekend, five-week-old Everly Paine was dedicated to the Lord. Several family members joined Erin and Chad Paine at their church, Clear Springs Baptist, for the occasion.

Congratulations to baby Everly & your family, Im so happy for you all. : )
ReplyDeleteSoooo curious why chad and Erin don't support her dads church by attending it? Maybe it's the case where being with so much family all the time is a little too much...
ReplyDeleteI think Erin is over there music but not sure.
DeleteThe congregation wouldn't necessarily be growing if it is mostly family. Not saying that having all your family attend the church where you pastor is a bad thing. Personally, I think by having them attend other churches there can be better opportunities to meet new people and minister to others.
DeleteWhen you are too comfortable, you don't grow.
The Paines are not under Gil's authority and I don't see anything wrong with them choosing to attend a different church. I'd say the same for the Dillards, who also attend a different church than the Duggars.
DeleteCongratulations, May GOD bless and keep you.
ReplyDeleteEverly is too cute! I think it's awesome to deticate your child to the Lord so early in life!
ReplyDeleteGod bless Everly, her parents and the entire Bates/Paine clan.
ReplyDeleteI love baby dedications.I think it's awesome when Christian parents make a public proclamation to raise their children in the ways of the Lord.
ReplyDeleteHow nice that Erin's grandparents were able to attend the dedication. I understand Erin and Chad attend a different church than most of her family and Gil a pastor, but it was a special day for the Paines and a milestone for Everly. I'm surprised Kelly, Katie, and Lawson, in particular, did not attend the dedication since they are so close to Erin.
ReplyDeleteWho told you they didn't attend?
DeleteA sweet dedication and as always, a beautiful day spent with our precious friends :)
DeleteAwe such aa nice pic. they look well.
ReplyDeleteGod bless sweet Everly, watch over, and protect always.
ReplyDeleteDo I spy a ring on Carlin's ring finger?? ;)
ReplyDeleteIt's not that clear, but....
No, if you click on it to enlarge you can see that there's no ring.
DeleteThat looks like a ring! I bet that's the enouncmente!
DeleteProbably her promise ring given to her by her parents.
DeleteShe wears a purity ring on that finger.
DeleteGod Bless you Everly.
