Everly's Dedication

This weekend, five-week-old Everly Paine was dedicated to the Lord. Several family members joined Erin and Chad Paine at their church, Clear Springs Baptist, for the occasion.

  2. Soooo curious why chad and Erin don't support her dads church by attending it? Maybe it's the case where being with so much family all the time is a little too much...

    2. The congregation wouldn't necessarily be growing if it is mostly family. Not saying that having all your family attend the church where you pastor is a bad thing. Personally, I think by having them attend other churches there can be better opportunities to meet new people and minister to others.
When you are too comfortable, you don't grow.

    3. The Paines are not under Gil's authority and I don't see anything wrong with them choosing to attend a different church. I'd say the same for the Dillards, who also attend a different church than the Duggars.

  6. I love baby dedications.I think it's awesome when Christian parents make a public proclamation to raise their children in the ways of the Lord.

  7. How nice that Erin's grandparents were able to attend the dedication. I understand Erin and Chad attend a different church than most of her family and Gil a pastor, but it was a special day for the Paines and a milestone for Everly. I'm surprised Kelly, Katie, and Lawson, in particular, did not attend the dedication since they are so close to Erin.
