And if that's not enough excitement for you, the Bates have yet another announcement to share. Someone is engaged! Who do you think it will be? Carlin Bates and Evan Stewart have been courting since August, while Josie Bates and Kelton Balka started their courtship at the beginning of this year.
The news will be broadcast during the series premiere of "Our Wedding Story," which airs tonight at 9pm ET/8pm CT on UP. For those who are unable to tune in, we will share the news on our blog.

ReplyDeleteI see the engagement announcement as nothing more than another stunt by UPTV to get viewers to watch their new show. I just don't think that's right. I know The Bates Family draws great ratings, but they could just schedule the new show for before or after The Bates show. I'll just get the engagement information from this blog. I really like the Bates Family show but I'm not crazy about UPTV as a network. Lots of games.

ReplyDeleteI think it's Josie. She just seems more ready to get married than Carlin does. I think both girls will be married soon, though, probably by the end of the year. And then maybe both of them will have babies next year! What fun!

ReplyDeleteHow is it as fast as can be? Josie and Kelton have liked each other for years. Several of the Bates have been in a relationship for over a year before marriage. They have the getting to know you period, the courtship period, and then the engagement.
DeleteI thought for sure it was Carlin because the silhouette was her in the ad on TV ! Plus she is older also. When is she done with school ? Also we already know she is moving to Nashville. She will be close to her sister Tori I think.
