"Mom wanted me to get you all graduation presents...I said, 'I thought paying for college was enough for a present.'"
-Gil Bates
Tomorrow on Bringing Up Bates, watch Tori Bates Smith, Trace Bates, and Josie Bates celebrate their college graduations. In this video, Kelly, who was able to talk Gil into giving the kids presents, praises each child for a job well done.

Sooooo... what was in the envelopes!!!??!! lol
ReplyDeleteMy guess would be a check! It's pretty common to give money as a graduation gift.
DeleteCash?
DeleteWhat did Trace go to college for?
ReplyDeleteAm I the only one that thinks Trace is really handsome? Proud of all of you guys
ReplyDeleteNo, I think he is super handsome... and I bet a lot of others think so too!
DeleteMoney? Sounds that way, Kelly said "I wanted to give you triple that but couldn't convince dad" or words to that effect.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely adore Kelly and Gil, as they just seem so genuine! They really treat their children as individuals instead of just one big "Bates brood." I look forward to reading about Josie's wedding and the birth of Tori's son come this fall/winter!
ReplyDeleteI miss your show
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to all. I bet Josie changed Traces hair style He's a nice looking guy..I love the Bates.
ReplyDeleteI just love the show! and your family!
ReplyDeleteAwe She is such sweet Mom
ReplyDeleteHow about money 😉
ReplyDeleteWhat did Trace go to college for ?
ReplyDeleteTrace completed Crown College's one year Bible study program. Joe Duggar went to Crown for the same program. I also recall reading on this blog that Katie has either started that program already or will be this fall.
DeleteSo Trace really doesn’t have a “degree”.? One year is not a bachelor degree although it’s good that he has some education.
DeleteWhitney's parents are there for the graduations too! Kelly and Gil really include everybody which is so wonderful. Just love this family
ReplyDeleteWill Tori teach after her son is born?
