ReplyDeleteThey are so ready and mature. He has his degree and is a plumber. Plumbers make good incomes. Josie graduated as well, and even has her own spot at a beauty salon, and making her own income. Congratulations to them. My heart goes out to Carlin though, she mentioned at Tori's rehearsal dinner that she wanted to switch places with Tori so she could right then be marrying her own guy. And now her younger sister is going before her. Gil is wise in not letting Carlin marry yet as she is not mature enough, but she's getting there though.
ReplyDeleteWell actually Gil IS letting Carlin marry, we know Evan must have asked his blessing before proposing. The Bates obviously don't have any "girls must marry in birth order" rule. Michaela also watched younger sisters (Alyssa and Erin) marry before her.
DeleteNow, Katie MAY wind up marrying before Addy as she'll be turning 18 on the same day as Josie's wedding, and Addy is still only 13. But you never know, if Katie doesn't marry until her mid-20s like Michaela and Addy marries at 19-20, she could also see her younger sister marry before her.

ReplyDeleteIt does seem that Carlin is acting a liitle more mature. She doesn't seem to be so loud and silly acting this season. She is still young and now that she is engaged she will probably calm down and be just fine. I hate to think how I acted at that age.
