ReplyDeleteI am looking forward to seeing more of Tori and Bobby as they prepare for their son. I suppose we will have to wait until the new year to see it. This family needs to be on TV year round. We can't keep up at this pace.

And most hospital wont take balloons for kids anymore . My hospital won't allow balloons they can cause a fire
Here random children who don’t know me, take these happy birthday balloons from my family. Oh it’s not your birthday? Thats fine, some stranger on the internet thought these would brighten your day. Seriously, have YOU ever taken balloons given to you by your family to a children’s ward? I doubt it

DeleteIs there a rule that every Bates and Duggar bride get their dress at Renee's? Josie didn't get he dress at Renee's. Maybe she simply doesn't have what Carlin is looking for. Or maybe Carlin was just window shopping.
DeleteI think Renee’s is overrated regarding workmanship, as we have seen on the wedding episodes. She gets a ton of publicity though. There are bridal shops all over so I have to ask why do they use her?
DeleteLoved Tori's dress. Bridesmaids dresses were the prettiest I have even seen. Those dresses were perfect for each girl and two were pregnant. Perfect color, style and fit. I love the wedding shows!!
DeleteIs there a reason that they call him Kade? It has nothing to do with his name. Usually nicknames are a shortened version of the persons name. (If they’ve explained why they call him Kade, don’t be mad at me for missing it lol).
ReplyDeleteTori said in one of the episodes that Kade means 4 and he is Robert Smith IV so they will call him by the nickname. I think it's really cute.

ReplyDeleteRead 7:30. They explained it like Tori did. Their baby they get to choose the name. I am greatful to share Kade with them even if it is on TV. Some of us have no grandchildren.
DeleteThat’s Quade not Kade. So, it’s a version of Quadruple with is a nick name for Robert Ellis...yup makes total sense!

DeleteQuade is completely different than Kade. In no way does Kade mean fourth or fourth generation. It means round and lumpy. It’s their choice to name their son Robert and choose to call him Kade instead, but they do not have freedom to make up meanings to fit their desires.
DeleteMO- Sounds like another season of The Bates Family being away from home most of the time. Exciting for them perhaps, but I miss the everyday "down home" feeling of the show. :o)
ReplyDeleteI agree with you Anon 3:17. They seem to be going the same way that 19 Kids and Counting went. It becomes something that people can't relate to when it gets like this. People don't live like that, because we have jobs and responsibilities and so the beauty of the show was watching people similar to us. We can see this stuff that they do now on any reality show. But too much money always changes things and so I guess all this travel and bling life just goes with the long running reality shows territory. Maybe a family will come along like how they use to be and UP will do a show on them. I hope so.
DeleteI don't know, the show wants to show us the milestones, and there have been plenty of those. But we've also seen them making a homemade shuffleboard court, teaching Tori how to cook a meal, training Jackson in how to cut down trees, etc. It's not all glitz and glam.
DeleteAnon 7:48. I bet there are a lot of large Christian humble families that UP could find. I think UP should put a limit to the amount of shows they would do with the different families so the family doesn't change. There is something so beautiful and inspiring about a simple God loving, moderate living,down home type family. I'm sure UP could find plenty of them.
DeleteI know a family who is exactly what you described. My best friend is from a family of 14 kids and they would be perfect. I'm going to submit their name and information after I ask them and send it to UP. They are a blessing to me and all of us that know them. You just don't find more humble down home people then my friends family.
DeleteI agree 3:17. I love Bringing Up Bates and don’t want them to stop producing shows. I have Comcast On Demand and daily choose reruns to watch until the new shows come on in January. However, I skip all courtships, engagements, weddings and birth shows. I stick to the everyday shows that take place in Rocky Top , on the Bates property and a few destination shows like visiting Alyssa and Michael, Dollywood, The Grandparents gatherings and the beach.
DeleteI don’t think I can watch one more wedding as much as I love Josie and Carlin, nor will I be watching hospital scenes with Tori’s birth, maybe in a year I will. Hopefully Up tv will get enough feed back to go back to the basics. I love the Bates!
I don't want to see another family. No other reality show is like this show. These people love each other and God. No hate, backbiting, or bad launguage.The Bates are the family I watch!!! I enjoy seeing them go on trips. Glad they can!

DeleteWhen you are middle-aged, and based upon the shape of your eyes, a good eye surgeon will always tell you, more often than not you will need readers or glasses for driving, etc. You must weigh the features and benefits of Lasik at her age. I for one would prefer to not need glasses 24/7 and only need occasionally vision correction based upon my activity.
