Gil and Kelly Bates' children, children-in-law, and grandchildren came together for Josie and Kelton's wedding on Friday. After the wedding festivities were over and the newlyweds were gone, the rest of the Bates clan enjoyed spending the weekend together, which included a baby shower for Tori.

DeleteHow wonderful the family could fit the Baby Shower for Tori in such a busy time. HOPEFULLY she handled it well- I recall she did not handle the Bridal Shower as she does not like speaking in public.

ReplyDelete9:04 - This is such a personal matter. I know from experience that even though it's wonderful to know people care, the questions and expectations of "updates" can be overwhelming. I'm sure if and when they have something to announce, they'll will be overjoyed to do so.

DeleteThough it is a personal matter, my understanding is that they've chosen to share it publicly in the past, which is probably why interest has been generated.
Delete12:04- Perhaps they decided to share some information because they'd been asked so many questions about having children. I never ask probing questions of anyone about their plans for a family. I figure if they want to talk about it, they will.

DeleteI have attended some of the Bates/Duggar weddings, but I haven't been able to attend all of them. For a handful, I have had conflicts with other weddings and events that I had already committed to. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to attend Josie's, but I hear it was lovely. Some of the Duggars did attend.
