Bride-to-be Josie Bates is set on an outdoor, fall wedding, preferably with a barn setting for the reception. With the marathon-style courting, engagement, wedding that these people have, do they wonder why they MIGHT have a problem with venues being available? Traditional weddings, with 1/4 of the people invited take 6 months to a year for planning. Do they think these venues are waiting for them to call? They rush for no good reason other to be able to live as an adult and kiss the guy.

DeleteI honestly don't think they see this as a real problem. They still found a place. Now if the churches/pastors are all booked out that might be more challenging because I don't think they consider a court house wedding. As a foreigner I had to get married within 90 days after approval. So it is possible, but then again we had less than 100 people.
DeleteWanting to live as an adult when you are an adult is a good thing. Josie and Kelton had jobs and were able to support a household prior to being engaged. They've know each other for years, it wasn't a nine month relationship from meeting to marriage.

DeleteI agree with you, when I was growing up, I was always told if you don't have anything nice to say about anyone, it's better to not say anything.
