Josie Bates Balka and Kelton Balka
As we shared last week, Josie and Kelton Balka are gearing up to announce the gender, and likely the name, of their baby to the public very soon. What do you think it will be? And what "type" of name do you predict they will choose? Will choose something from the Bible, or will they go with a very traditional name that is back in vogue, like Bryon or Iris? Or do you see them going "royal" with a name like William or Catherine? Josie's middle name is Kellyn, and Kelton's is Edward.

I think it is a girl and the name will honor Kelton's mom.

DeleteI think it’s a girl - I think they will call her after Kelton’ Mum’ name either as the first or middle name - a lovely reminder.
ReplyDeleteI doubt they’ll go royal, if they do it would more likely be George or Charlotte.
I prefer biblical names but they will probably go for something unusual alongside Keltons’ Mum’ name.

ReplyDeleteMO- Good question! I love traditional biblical names. I have a David and a Jonathan. My kids even like their names! It would be sweet to include Kelton's mother's name if it's a girl. The only thing I don't like is when couples combine names of people they like to come up with something "original". I hate having to ask someone to repeat the name over and over and spell it for me! Haha- :o)

DeleteWhether it’s a boy or girl, my guess is the name will be trendy. Felicity was the perfect name for Jinger Duggar Vuolo’s firstborn, and I think whatever name Josie picks will be, like, yes! Perfect! Totally!

ReplyDeleteI too think it will be a little princess and I believe the name they choose will be in honor of someone very special in their lives who has loved them and inspired them to become the precious young adults they have become.
ReplyDeleteWell when I looked a few weeks ago she had a baby registry with some girl stuff, so I'm sure baby is a girl. They no longer have the baby registry available to see so you wont see it.As for the name, I bet a classic name that will also include Keltons moms name.

ReplyDeleteI think it's a boy! I think the pink clothes may be trying to throw us off. If it is a girl though, they will definitely name her after Kelton's mom. I think their future names will be unique.
