Carlin and Evan Stewart have been married four weeks! They recently visited Evan's family in the Nashville area. Carlin is finishing the decorating process in their East Tennessee house and plans to share photos soon.

DeleteCarlin's degree is in interdisciplinary studies. What's amazing is that people can work in fields unrelated to their degree. There would be a lot more journalists, bloggers, editors, and teachers if everyone who an English major pursued careers related to their degree. Also, a heck of a lot more biologists, art historians, and economists.

DeleteAnonymous 5:49 PM: It’s surprising how many people don’t get jobs directly related to their undergraduate college majors. Liberal arts degrees are intended to give students exposure to different subjects and ideas, beyond what they learned in high school. When Carlin was in college, she may never have thought about starting and running a business, but the general skills learned in her college studies will certainly be useful after graduation.

ReplyDeleteIt's not photo-shopped. It's a "selfie" of Josie and Kelton on their way to NYC for a little getaway. The head above them is the person behind them on the plane. In other pictures of Josie and Kelton, their faces aren't close enough to show them together in the header of this blog. You can see a larger version of this photo in the Sat.
