ReplyDeleteEllie, I just notice the new borders on the site. Please do not think this is rude. Would it be much easier to updated the photos from the Bates group photos? Kelly had photos taken in November with a breakdown of couples and smaller families. This way you don't have to create the smaller icons. It may help with your space designs. Again, not to be rude just trying to give you some feedback to help with your great work. This could also help you not to have to update until the Bates take new photos.

DeleteEllie - Would it be possible to make the banner larger? It is difficult to see the grandchildren. The Websters are particularly small in contrast to the rest of the families. Thank you for always keeping us updated.

ReplyDeleteI dislike those jeans with the zipper up her calf. How uncomfortable it must be on her skin. A small child should wear soft comfortable clothes. I don’t like Whitney’s choice of “fashion “ over comfort for a two year old

DeleteA two year old would make it well known if she was uncomfortable. The back side of zipper likely has a soft cotton cover so that Kaci wouldn't feel the zipper against her skin. The jeans' stretchy cotton fabric is great for movement too. Worry about your own family before going after others.

DeleteActually, I have two pair of pants just like them and they don’t bother me at all. The pants aren’t skin tight so the zipper doesn’t really rub. Plus, the back side of the zipper isnusally the “flat” part so there’s not really anything scratchy. However, I think some people have too much time if they looking through all these pictures, pull them up big, and scrutinize every minor detail that most don’t notice or just scroll past.
DeleteHowever, I doubt you crawl around on the floor to play. A metal zipper will only impede Kaci's movement, and for no reason at all. Why do that to a little girl? Children need soft, comfortable clothes that allow them to move easily. (They also don't need giant bows on their head, bows that will just fall off as they run and play.)
Delete9:37 - How would a zipper on the side of her leg impede crawling? Also, how do you know that those jeans aren't soft or comfortable? They're made of cotton and have stretch. Jeggings aren't leg shackles.
Delete9:37, it's really no big deal if her jeans have the zipper (if it's uncomfortable, little children will let you know!) or if her bow falls off (nothing bad will happen if it does). Really. Those are minor things that Whitney and her daughter can deal with.
