New Episodes Later This Summer

Happy Wednesday to all our lovely blog readers! We know that you are eager for new episodes of Bringing Up Bates to return to UPtv. Season 8A ended on April 11th, and season 8B is set to premiere later this summer. The network hasn't yet announced a specific date, but when they do, we will share it with you immediately.

The Stewarts' Master Bedroom

Carlin and Evan Stewart have been married for just over two months and just shared a photo of their gorgeous master bedroom. Erin Paine helped with the design. The green paint color behind the bed is Regal Leaf from Magnolia. What do you think? The first photo is of the Stewarts' master, and the second is of Zach and Whitney Bates' master bedroom, which was done earlier this year. Both were designed with help from the Paines.

Happy golden birthday to Lawson! Today is July 27th, and he's turning 27. Did you know that his legal first name is actually William? Lawson is his middle name.

More Baby Girls!

Erin Paine and Whitney Bates have announced the names of their babies!

Erin and Chad Paine are expecting a girl, whom they have named Holland Grace Paine, in December. Zach and Whitney Bates are also expecting a baby girl, in November. Her name is Khloé Eileen Bates.

The Duggar family, close friends of the Bates, are expecting three grandchildren this fall--and all are girls!

In the photo on the left, Erin and Whitney are modeling the "Brittni" dress sold on Bates Sisters Boutique.

Josie's Delivery

Josie Balka welcomed daughter Willow Kristy Balka, on July 19th after a reportedly 36-hour labor. The new mom ,who turns 20 on August 4th, had support from her many family members. Some provided encouragement during labor, while others visited after the birth. Josie and Kelton's talented photographer friend Taryn Yager was present during labor and delivery and took these precious photos.

Welcome, Willow Balka!

The 10th Bates grandchild has arrived safe and sound. Josie (Bates) Balka delivered Willow Kristy Balka this morning, July 19th, at 2:23am. Willow weighed 6lbs 10oz and was 19 inches long.

Today, Felicity Vuolo, daughter of Jinger (Duggar) Vuolo, is celebrating her 1st birthday.

The dress business is booming! Erin Paine, Whitney Bates, and Carlin Stewart are continuing to add inventory to their online store, Bates Sisters Boutique. With a variety of styles, and even a few items that aren't dresses, there is sure to be something for everyone. Below are a few of the newest additions.

As you'll see on the boutique website, Erin, Whitney, and Carlin often have their mom and sisters as models. Most recently, Chaney, Trace's girlfriend, has also joined in on the fun.

Zoey at 16 Months

In a couple weeks, Zoey Webster will be 16 months old (and so will Everly Paine--we shared a new photo of her in our June 28th post). Zoey is the youngest of the three Webster daughters, and Alyssa loves dressing them in matching [usually pink] outfits, so there is a good chance that this little cutie will grow up to be a girly girl.

Celebrating 4th of July in Downtown Knoxville

Josie Balka is just a couple weeks away from her July 25th due date! Older sisters Erin Paine and Tori Smith have a history of early deliveries, so if Josie follows in their footsteps, she and Kelton could be meeting their daughter any day now. Are you looking forward to seeing photos of Willow Balka? She is the 10th Bates grandchild, which is especially fitting because Josie is Gil and Kelly Bates' 10th child.

Season 8B Promo Photo

As we shared a couple weeks ago, the Bates family did a promotional shoot with the network in preparation for Bringing Up Bates season 8B. The entire clan was present, although Zach was in and out due to his work schedule as a law enforcement officer. The photo below is a more polished snapshot of the family. As you can see, some of the grandkids are getting a little tired of posing for photos, but we sure can't blame them.

July 4th at the Bates Farm

The Bates clan spent 4th of July with Gil's family at Papa Bill and Mama Jane's farm, a celebration that has become an annual tradition. It was also Papa Bill's 81st birthday. And what's a family gathering without a little project? While they were there, they helped Papa Bill and Mama Jane by adding walls to their porch.

Update on Alyssa's Heart Condition

Independence Day 2019

On April 11th, we shared news of Alyssa Webster’s heart surgery. (Click here to read our post with the details.) She just released an update, so we wanted to pass it on to you all.

Alyssa's doctor has scheduled the same surgery again because the first one was unsuccessful. After the first procedure, Alyssa was told that there was a 50% chance that her abnormal heartbeats would return, and they did. Her doctor informed her that her arrhythmia is one of the worst he has seen. Please continue to pray for healing for Alyssa, a successful surgery, and wisdom for the medical staff that will be treating her.

Have you ever been to Chuck E. Cheese? The Bates have been a number of times. In fact, Carson Paine just celebrated his fourth birthday there this year. And it's not just a place that the little kids love visiting. As you can see from these photos, the older Bates siblings enjoy the competitive nature of the games.
