Bates Adults at Chuck E. Cheese

Have you ever been to Chuck E. Cheese? The Bates have been a number of times. In fact, Carson Paine just celebrated his fourth birthday there this year. And it's not just a place that the little kids love visiting. As you can see from these photos, the older Bates siblings enjoy the competitive nature of the games.

  2. How fun! I haven't been there in years, but I used to go there for all of my birthdays as a young kid! It's a lot of fun!

  3. Kids did love Chuck E but I am so happy they have grown older.

  4. I can't stand Chuck E. Cheese! It is a deafening, germ-ridden cesspool that serves food that is worse than airline food. A lot of people I know feel the same way.

    1. I'm not a fan either, but my kids love it. I can tolerate it every once in a while. BYO handwash, eat before you go, and pick a time when it's pretty empty, and it's not so bad.

    2. And a lot of people love it. Why judge on something so insignificant?

    5. There are germs on every playground. We don’t avoid taking our kids to fun places to try to avoid germs. It reminds me of a sign I saw recently “wash your hands because Jesus and germs are everywhere.” Chuck E Cheese is a fun place for little kids!

    6. 9:02, the sign says “wash your hands and say your prayers because Jesus and germs are everywhere”. Personally I’m not a fan of the sign but whatever floats your boat.

  7. What an awful place to have a party! What ever happened to a simple party at a local park?

    1. Actually, it can be fun if you go at a time when they're not busy and you have the run of the place. Just don't get their pizza! Blah!

    2. It's pretty much known as a place for children's party. That's its business model. Given the heat this year, I would rather have it inside at Chuck E. Cheese than outside in the heat where I would pass out.

  9. Chuck E. Cheese has phased out in our region of the country. I never cared for the place- it was too chaotic the few times we went there and the food was dismal. Maybe they're better in Tennesee.

    1. Response to 11:08 MO- Oh really? The pizza was great at Chuck E Cheese where where my kids used to go for parties. It was worth all the yelling, crying, and unsupervised kids running around just to enjoy the food! I don't think there were too many adult games though. Haha- :o)

    2. The pizza at Chucky cheese is not Horrible.it's very good were I live in Davenport Iowa.

    3. You’re right they could use a revamp on their pizza recipe, it’s way too expensive for pizza that gross!! Now that we know how bad it is we go out to eat beforehand and then go in to play the games. Just in case anyone reading hasn’t ever eaten there just take all our advice and skip dining in haha!

    4. I never cared for their pizza, but my kids loved going there. They enjoyed all of the little rides and tunnels.

    5. The one time I had it in Colorado, it was pretty awful pizza.

    6. Years ago when I had it in Ohio, it was gross.

    1. The bloggers were eliciting comments by asking who had been to CC. It's not being judgmental to give an opinion about a place of business. They are not personal comments about the Bates.

    2. I think judging not is only for judging people. It's perfectly fine to have opinions of businesses and to share your opinions. Like with everything else, there are going to be people who love it, people who hate it, and people who have no strong opinion.

  16. My kids always loved it there. Where I live, it is considered a very low class place to go. Kids do love it though!
