Erin and Chad Paine are expecting a girl, whom they have named Holland Grace Paine, in December. Zach and Whitney Bates are also expecting a baby girl, in November. Her name is Khloé Eileen Bates.
The Duggar family, close friends of the Bates, are expecting three grandchildren this fall--and all are girls!
In the photo on the left, Erin and Whitney are modeling the "Brittni" dress sold on Bates Sisters Boutique.

DeleteEven simple names get spelled different ways. Tammy or Tami, Kathy or Cathy, Ami or Amy.... Parents don’t have to be creative to have their kids’ names spelled incorrectly frequently.

Holland is a somewhat trendy baby girls name, actually. And it goes with Brooklyn, another place name.

DeleteThat is wild! They all are having girls, and Duggars too! Josie just had a girl a week ago. Now Erin and Whitney will have girls in November/December. Jessa Duggar has a girl in May, then another 3 girls are coming in November, and unfortunately Joy lost her girl at 20 weeks. It's girls year!!
ReplyDeleteI wish Duggars announced names in advance too! It's more fun this way! If I was naming a baby and went for a place, I would rather go for a city, not country (like Holland). Florence would be a pretty name, Milania, Lausanna.

ReplyDeleteI am a retired teacher. I remember one year where US presidents seemed to be the trend. I had students named Kennedy, Jackson, Reagan, Jefferson, Wilson, Madison, Carter, and Grant! Fortunately, no one had named their child Hoover or Coolidge, but I supposed there's always a first for everything!
That is so funny! I've seen Lincoln as a first name too. Fortunately never heard of a child named Bush though!
DeleteI absolutely LOVE both names. There is the an actress named Holland Taylor. She played Charlie Sheen's mom on Three and a Half Men. Also, I have seen Khloe with a K quite a few times. It is not that uncommon, to me anyway. I love their names and Willow as well. I just cannot believe all the girls, except for cousin Amy, the only boy for now. ReplyDeleteWhitney needs a long slip under the coral dress. You can see her legs through the light in that photo...not modest. Goes to show you what cheap, thin fabric those dresses are made of. Not worth the money.
