Lawson Bates in the Bahamas
Lawson is now home from the Bahamas after spending two weeks doing hurricane disaster and medical relief work with the organization MEDIC CORPS. He and Nathan worked alongside some of the Duggars, as well as other volunteers. Their team was made up of medical personnel (including an emergency room doctor), pilots, and other trained individuals. The organization's efforts have been highlighted by multiple news outlets, including News4Jax, CBS, and NBC.
Working alongside other nonprofits--Samaritan's Purse, Team Rubicon, Fuel Relief Fund, and others--MEDIC CORPS delivered medical supplies; life-flighted victims to Nassau; distributed food, water, and other supplies; rescued stranded victims, including three young children who had been separated from family; and much more. Please continue to pray for the victims of Hurricane Dorian.
