Lawson Bates just released a new love song and music video called "Like the Rain." He is working on a new album that will likely be available early next year.
The video was shot in Belt, Montana, and the residents of the tiny town were eager to help. The fire department even used their hoses to create fake rain. And because it's a love song, there has to be a girl. That role is played by a Bates friend, Madyson Mesinar.

Wow,what a beautiful song,I believe Lawson's gonna hit it big,and what a beautiful girl,they would make a beautiful couple,video shows Lawson daydreaming,does that mean she's taken and Lawson can't do anything about it,lol.

ReplyDeleteCute video, though I can't help but wonder how it feels for a guy like that to do those somewhat intimate scenes (even just the gazing into each other's eyes) when he (to our knowledge) hasn't had a relationship like that in real life. Wonder if in a few months we'll find out this sparked something...or maybe was already in progress :) Probably not, but it was a sweet video and very well done.
ReplyDeleteI'd be very surprised if he hasn't had any relationships or some amount of dating experience. He appears to get around quite a bit with his music gig and isn't exactly living with his parents full time.
DeleteIn fact they were even holding hands,I thought they werent allowed to hold hands until courtship or does it not count if they're not a couple as they don't have feelings for each other,although they are both very good looking,I would expect them to like each other,well if they're not a couple there must be another reason like dhe's already in a relationship or don't have much in common.

ReplyDeleteI can’t figure out tho. Lawson probably wouldn’t act that intimate going with a girl in real life. So why is it ok in a video? Why would they promote that if the Bates are cautious about getting too physical in dating? Seemed too intimate for a Bates comfort. It just seems strange to me to see this much touchy touchy being promoted. Like his last one with the duck dynasty gal and now she’s marrying someone else.

But an honest question - why all the “intimate” scenes ( as in hand holding and un chaperoned time alone, ) when things like this are forbidden until marriage or courtship? If lawson isn’t courting this young lady, wouldn’t these actions create desires that can’t be righteously fulfilled?
