Kaci and Khloe's New Room

Zach and Whitney Bates' third child, Khloe Eileen Bates, is due in less than six weeks! The bedroom that Kaci, who turned three in June, and Khloe will share is finished and ready for Khloe's arrival. What do you think?

  5. So pretty! Except the furry stools. I don't see little kids being friendly to those (or maybe that's because I have 4 boys 😄).

  8. What a beautiful room for 2 little princesses! Kaci Lynn's big girl bed is amazing, and I love the saying Zach and Whitney placed above her bed.

  11. Love the colors! But why the big fluffy pillows in the crib?

    1. For looks, obviously. You take them out and put them on the stools when the baby is in the crib.

  12. I’m not into all of the decorative pillows inside the crib. They’re dangerous for little babies, and a waste of money. I don’t get why people overly decorate nurseries. All babies need is a crib and a changing table. And toys lol

    1. They are only dangerous if the parents don't remove them before putting the baby in. Whitney may get tired of dealing with them and may put them away until Khloe is bigger.

    1. Khloe Eileen Bates

    2. Khloe Eileen Bates. In a monogram, the last name traditionally goes in the middle.

    3. In monograms, the last name is in the middle. KBE stands for Khloe Eileen Bates.

    4. Khloe Bates Eileen. When initials are used last name goes in the middle. New baby will be named Khloe Eileen Bates.

    5. KEB is the baby's initials, or monogram

  14. I'm sure pillows are removed before babies are put into the cribs. As far as decorative....to each his own. And, parents should be alert as to what toys are permitted in the nursery.

  15. Very pretty room.
I don't believe I've ever seen a cover on a bed like Kaci has on hers. The bed looks difficult to get into each day. It's pretty, though.

  16. Pediatrician recommendations in our country are to have the baby in your room for the first six months, if not the first year. it is also easier to breastfeed the baby that way, which is recommended for the first two years of the baby's life. Looks like a cute designer room but not practical in real life. And I really like the Bates family so I am just focussed on this one issue that I disagree with.

    1. The crib in the other room may just be for naps during the day, I doubt Whitney would put Khloe be there same room as kaci when she’ll be waking up constantly in the night.

    2. She very well may have a bassinet in the parents' room that we wouldn't see in these pictures. There's nothing that impractical. The baby still has a crib, there are just throw pillows to put some place.

  17. What's going on with Whitney's real estate career? Does she have any listings? If Tori and Michaela were looking for a place back in Tennessee, why didn't Whitney, the real estate agent, help them find something? I think that 'career' was all for the show. I highly doubt that she goes to the office at all and really works as a realtor. Please update us as to her status there.

  19. Is there a way to link where the comforter on Kaci's bed is from? So perfect

  20. absolutly adorable cant wait tell i have my little girl because my baby room will look kinda like that but its adorable and i cant wait tell yours is born

  21. Kaci's bedding may have come from beddys. They have zip up bedding. Makes it easy for kids to make their beds. It is a bit pricey.

  22. What a pretty room!

  23. I would be more interested in how she gets her kids to sleep! Doing “cry it out” sleep training won’t work with another kid in the room. Plus I hate to hear babies cry. Poor things!

    1. When we did cry it out, it only took a night or two and then the baby slept through the night after that. The baby went in a separate room.

  24. Why are the initials over the crib in the wrong order?? Her initials should be KEB, not KBE.

    1. That's not how monograms are traditionally done. The last initial goes in the middle. I don't know why.

  25. Shouldn't there be a comma after "beautiful girl" ? Otherwise, the framed graphic on the wall reads poorly. Capitalization, punctuation, grammar... have all been tossed out with our modes of communication these days. I would take extra measures to make sure my young child is clear on correct and incorrect writing.
