Katie Bates celebrated her 19th birthday today. Travis, her friend who is becoming more than just a friend, made her day extra special by surprising her. Katie and Travis haven't made an official relationship announcement yet, but aren't they an adorable couple?

ReplyDeleteTori, Carlin and Josie all had 2 years or more from the time they met/started "dating" (before courting) until marriage. I don't think Katie is going to be making an engagement announcement any time soon. They haven't even officially said that they're dating let alone courting.

DeleteAfter seeing these comments I watched some of their videos. Wow, this kid has a beautiful voice. Plus in one video he was singing with an older handsome man with a beard. I couldn't help but notice the older one didn't have a ring and thought he should be introduced to Jana. Anyway, I love Travis's voice.
DeleteTravis is very young, just started first year of college. It'll be a long courtship if he's in a 4 year program!!! He must be only 18 or 19 himself.

ReplyDeleteI hope they wait until he completes an education program that will be sufficient to support a family. Maybe he already has because we don't know his age, although he looks quite young. You can't plan a life around being part of a family singing group.
ReplyDeleteResponse to Kathy. MO- Travis is from The Clark Family from NJ. They sing, write, and record gospel music much like Evan's family. I think the Clarks are better known though. He's been singing since he was just little. He's a little younger than Katie. :o)

DeleteMaybe it’s just me, but I just watched the Episode where Kelton and Evan join the family and papa bills for Thanksgiving. When the boys are all climibing up the tree, I could have sworn Travis was sitting at the table with Josie and Kelton. Wearing a red hoodie. I could be wrong though.
