What does "too much hip" mean?
ReplyDelete😂😂 Clearly Kelly has never seen a Latino or Caribbean person dance if she thinks that’s too much hip
Delete😂 That's hilarious. Not something I would ever let anyone see me do, though!
ReplyDeleteLove Kelly she seems like so much fun !
ReplyDeleteGreetings from Sydney Australia !
Thats fun
ReplyDeleteI grew up going to wedding dances in our Midwest Scandinavian area. Along with the polka and two-step, the chicken dance was a staple! It was always a workout! Funny thing, those old time dances are making a comeback!
ReplyDeleteThe Chicken Dance and the Hokey Pokey are very common childrens' dances held at wedding receptions. I'm sure Kelly has done many a chicken dance at the wedding receptions she may have attended before her conversion to this type of lifestyle that throws the babies out with the bathwater regarding almost everything that can be pleasurable in life.
ReplyDeleteI've never thought of the chicken dance as pleasurable. 😂
DeleteGlad to see the Bates family “loosening up”. People can have a good moral compass and still have a little fun, without being so worried about rules all the time. It’s what’s in your heart that counts
ReplyDeleteJust curious...how many episodes will there be in the rest of Season 8?
ReplyDeletesounds like the bates are getting more of a style and the chicken dance is my favorite dance we did it at camp for our morning excercise looks like fun
ReplyDeleteThe Bates family truly enjoys each other - their relationships show thru in the clips of their family.
ReplyDeleteThat's a different chicken dance from what I grew up with. We would make duck beak movements with our fingers for 4 beats, flap our arms for 4 beats, twist & shimmy lower for 4 beats, and clap our hands for 4 beats. And then polka in between, until we did the 16 beats again. I don't know what Kelly was doing!
ReplyDeleteYeah, I don't think she is doing what most of us know as the Chicken Dance.
