Kelly Bates, Gil Bates, Lexi Webster, Allie Webster
Even though Orlando is a near-10-hour drive from Rocky Top, Alyssa and John and their girls are still able to spend quite a bit of time with family. They were in Gatlinburg with everyone last weekend, and this weekend, Gil and Kelly are in Orlando.

No, they only "represent" themselves. At least that's the way it should be. They are not responsible for any other family except their own.
DeleteNo correction of the original comment necessary. They are a branch of the Webster family, and represent the family tree well. Other branches can do the same.
DeleteWhat is meant is that Johns family is involved in politics there in Florida. So, yes they probably do feel a sense of responsibility to represent the family well.

ReplyDeleteI'm very happy for them. They all married people that are very easy going about having sooooo many inlaws and actually enjoy being together with them. They are very blessed!
ReplyDeleteMy goodness, (and lol) John looks like a giant next to the rest of them! I know Alyssa is tiny, but didn't realize her parents aren't much taller than she is!

DeleteGil and Kelly are very fortunate that, with several married children, only one family lives away. Most children nowadays have to live where their careers take them. I and most of our friends have children and grandchildren who live quite far away. It’s difficult, but family is a priority so thank goodness for things like e-mail, messaging, and FaceTime.
