Paines welcomed Holland Grace Paine yesterday morning (Tuesday, November 26) at

Aww she’s tiny! Also, she was deliver slightly earlier than Erin’s other babies, at 35 weeks and 5 days. I hope her lungs are okay. It seems like everything is fine though
ReplyDeleteSince Erin’s doctors know she delivers early the babies are given steroids to help their lungs develop quicker before they’re born; which is why they haven’t needed any NICU stays. She is so precious!
DeleteCongratulations! Was she a full month early? I know Erin goes early because of her blood clotting condition, but was this the earliest?
ReplyDeleteWonderful news. Thank God for healthy baby and mother. Holland has been blessed to be born into this family. Not trying to be negative but have never heard of Holland used for a baby name.
ReplyDeleteShe is the third baby I know in the past year to have that name. It seems to be more popular than in was in previous years.

DeleteHolland qualifies for the diagnosis of low birth weight. I hope she is OK
ReplyDeleteSince they knew she would be born early she would have been given a steroid shot to develop her lungs, which is the biggest problem with premature babies. Weight actually isn’t a huge factor.
DeleteShe was born a month early so 5lbs, 5oz is not low birthweight!
DeleteHolland was born at 8 months, her due date was December 27th, so that's just premature, not low birth weight. The same was with Everly, she was also born a month earlier (on March 28, 2018, while she was due April 28), at 5 lbs. Carson and Brooklyn also were borhn more than 3 weeks premature, and they were about 6 lbs of weight. Erin has a blood condition that makes it a high risk pregnancy.

ReplyDeleteI don’t think it was intentional since Carson’s name is Charles, although that could fit in with Charleston.

DeleteThat was not about locations or places. Carson's name is Charles, as Chad's is, they just sort of nicknamed him Carson. Brooklyn, Erin was saying she always loved this name. Everly, they looked it up somewhere and fell in love. Not sure about Holland, but somehow currently it's quite popular name! And if anything, it does match other names by sound and having "L" in it and 2 syllabi.

ReplyDeleteHer oldest, Carson is 4.5 now (born in May 2015), then Brooklyn is 3 (born in August 2016), Everly is just 1 year 8 months (born in March 2018).
Wouldn't that be 4 under 5?

DeleteThe other kids are old enough to make a forced smile, and that's what they seem to do.
DeleteWhat do the other kids have to do with Everly? And photographers have been telling people to smile at cameras for a long time, both professionals and amateurs. I don't know why all of a sudden it's some bad thing. 🙄
