Over the river and through the woods to Grandmother's house we go! Alyssa Webster and her girls made the seven-hour trek from their home in Florida up to Papa Bill and Mama Jane's farm in South Carolina. John will join his girls after a week, as the family prepares to celebrate Thanksgiving. The family farm, which is where Gil and his brother and sister grew up, is a favorite destination for Gil and Kelly and their kids.

Another wonderful picture!!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad Alyssa has put hats on her daughters. It's a great way to keep warm.
By reading the narrative, I get the impression that Alyssa and her family will stay for the week and then head elsewhere (inlaws?) for Thanksgiving.?
Yeah, me too I had the impression that John is meeting them there shortly. And that they're there for more than a week.
DeleteEnjoy your time with them. Making great memoies
ReplyDeleteOh thats great! their grandparents are so nice.
ReplyDeleteSo wonderful that Alyssa and the girls are able to spend time with Papa Bill and Mama Jane. The girls are blessed to have great grand parents. Look at Alyssa's Instagram for some beautiful pictures they made at church. So enjoy seeing Alyssa's church pictures.
ReplyDeleteThose hat's are so cute! I bet their grandmother knitted/ crocheted them for the girls and took their picture. So sweet!
ReplyDeleteNope, they’re store bought
DeleteI've never seen Kelly knit anything.
DeleteMaybe the OP was referring to Grandma Janie.
DeleteNo, she said “grandmother.” That’s Kelly
DeleteI was referring to Grandma Janie.
Delete4:05, she said the grandmother knitted the hats and then took the picture. Whose house are they at and who would thus be taking the picture? Why, Grandma Janie!
DeleteGood for her! Happy Alyssa is feeling all better and Is off having fun!
ReplyDeleteI think those girls will be tall like their dad! The older two are very tall already. They are going to pass their tiny mom right by, lol! Beautiful family.
ReplyDeleteWas just curious how or where you see the older 2 as being "very tall already"? They are so little yet.
DeleteFor two and four years, they are unusually tall.
DeleteYou can predict a person's height based on their height at two.
DeleteTall for their age. And they are!
Deletelexi looks like she's enjoying that cooler weather! look at that smile!
ReplyDeleteIf they grow as tall as John, they'll be a foot taller than Alyssa! LOL, they are lovely girls
ReplyDeleteellie
ReplyDeleteis it ok to mention here that someone has uploaded this season on youtube?
i know a lot of international readers cant see videos but now that they've been uploaded, maybe they'll be able to see them? i was able to watch what i missed and then repeated them!
Good to know
DeleteWay to go... now the channel is closed... of course it's not ok to upload onto youtube!
DeleteFour lovely girls.
ReplyDeleteMarilyn,Joan and Marion
That is nice that Alyssa took the girls to see their great grandparents house.
ReplyDeleteLovely girls.
ReplyDeleteIt's good to see the girls wearing comfortable clothes that they can run and play in. I hope she continues to dress them in that style. The girls will develop better gross motor skills if they are able to use their bodies without constraint. Dresses and fancy shoes don't encourage active play.
ReplyDeleteThat's hilarious. My ten year old has been brought up in dresses and she engages in active play. Her gross motor skills are fine, too.
DeleteOh I agree with you 10:50. There are plenty of ladies, especially in Conservative Anabaptist circles(Mennonite, German Baptist, Hutterite, etc) who wore dresses only growing up who have no problems with gross motor skills.
