Bates Season 9 Premiere Date

We have some big news to brighten up your Tuesday. UPtv just announced the Bringing Up Bates season nine premiere date! The Bates will return with new episodes on Thursday, March 5, 2020, at 9pm ET/8pm CT, only on UPtv. And guess what? Season nine will feature a brand new opener. Check it out in the video below.

Kelton's New Company

Josie and Kelton Balka have an exciting announcement. Kelton started his own business!

After becoming a fifth generation licensed plumber at age 18, earning a finance degree from Pensacola Christian College in 2017, and working in his family's plumbing business for multiple years, Kelton is going off on his own, with his family’s full blessing. His company is Tennessee Standard, LLC

Bobby Smith, Kelton's best man and college roommate, is joining him as the administrative director. Bobby has worked with Kelton at The Plumbing Authority since he and Tori returned from Nashville last spring.

If you live in the Knoxville area, be sure to give Kelton a call the next time you need a plumber.

The Balkas will have another career announcement to make soon, this time from Josie.

How did Michaela celebrate the start of a new decade? On her 30th birthday, her family threw a big party in her honor. Brandon also surprised her with a getaway. Above is a photo of Michaela and older brother Zach, who turned 30 in December 2018. The two were great friends growing up and continue to be as adults.

Bates #2 Turns 30

Happy 30th birthday to Michael Keilen! Michael "Michaela" is the second oldest of Gil and Kelly Bates' 19 children. She will celebrate her fifth wedding anniversary this year and is currently enrolled in nursing school in East Tennessee.

Willow Turns 6 Months Old

Willow Balka is six months old today! Last season of Bringing Up Bates ended with Carlin and Evan's May wedding, so viewers haven't officially "met" Willow yet. Josie and Kelton chose not to film her birth, but you can look forward to seeing her in upcoming new episodes. The season nine premiere date has not yet been announced, but you can rest assured that it won't be long.

Lexi's 3rd Birthday Party

Lexi Webster celebrated her third birthday a bit early. Her actual birthday is on January 26th, but her parents hosted a party ahead of schedule. The theme was PJ Masks, an animated children's TV show that all three Webster girls love. The get-together was organized by Alyssa, party planning extraordinaire, and featured festive decorations and a homemade, three layer cake.

Erin and Her 4 Babies

2020 is the year when Carson turns five, Brooklyn turns four, Everly turns two, and Holland turns one, but until those birthdays, Erin and Chad can say they have four children ages four and under. Gil and Kelly Bates were in a similar situation back in 1992, when Lawson's arrival meant they had four children under age four. (Zach was three-and-a-half when Lawson was born.)

The Keilens' Tennessee Home

The Keilens spent their first holiday season in their new Tennessee home! When they were living in Chicago, they had a larger home, so moving to Tennessee meant downsizing. In this deleted scene from last season, Michael and Brandon have siblings Erin and Chad Paine and Tori and Bobby Smith over to tour their new place in Norris.

Bates Season 9?

We know you all are eager for the Bates family to return with new episodes to UPtv, after season eight of Bringing Up Bates ended on November 21st. No news right now, but stay tuned for a premiere date. We will let you know as soon as the network makes the announcement.

33 Weeks with Layla Rae

The Stewarts still haven't received their Christmas present. It might be more fitting to call this one a Valentine's Day present, which is fitting because the Bates always have a big I Love You Day celebration. This gift will certainly be worth the wait. Carlin is 33 weeks pregnant, which means that Layla Rae Stewart is due to arrive in less than two months!

How many cousins will Layla have? Evan has six nieces and nephews, while Carlin has 12, with Tori's second son (Kolter Grey Smith) schedule to make his appearance in April.

Websters Start 2020

Happy New Year! We thought we would kick off 2020 with a new photo of Alyssa and her girls. This year, Allie Jane will turn five, Lexi Mae will turn three, and Zoey Joy will turn two. Alyssa recently shared that her doctor says her heart is looking good after the two surgeries that she underwent last year.
