We know you all are eager for the Bates family to return with new episodes to UPtv, after season eight of Bringing Up Bates ended on November 21st. No news right now, but stay tuned for a premiere date. We will let you know as soon as the network makes the announcement.

ReplyDeleteI remember Gil working hard in tree work and I am happy for him that he no longer works in that hard field to provide for his family. However, due to their increased wealth from the show, product placements, preaching; etc. I feel their show and them (to some extent) are becoming a reality show to the likes of the Kardashians. Not in the privileged 1% and not as raunchy; but have certainly become a family of traveling, private planes, extravagant weddings/celebrations and heftier expectations. For fans that have always tried to imitate their way of life, it must be very hard to watch and keep up with them on their new level.
ReplyDeleteIf there are fans who are trying to emulate the Bates' way of life and are finding it difficult, they really have no one to blame but themselves. It's never a good idea to put other people up on a pedestal, as disappointment will surely follow.

DeleteWhat private planes? What extravagant lifestyle and traveling are we seeing?? I see a family who has poured their hearts and souls into serving others. I see a family that, in spite of many critics, exhaustively continuing to reach out and help others. I see a family who sticks by each other, sets an amazing example, and gives viewers a realistic view into their lives. Do they have more money than they did 10 years ago?? Probably. But that’s none of our business. The Bates’ have remained a steady, light-bearing, compassionate, considerate, and generous family regardless of how much their bank accounts “read”.
DeleteLooking forward to new series but in the UK we only get episodes via amazon prime and a paid subscription to UPtv. the uploads are slow and Sporadic which is Frustrating

On Amazon, only episodes 1-15 of season 8 are available, and that is only with a free trial of UP Faith and Family. In the past, individual episodes were available for purchase. Does anyone know when the rest of the episodes will be available? And will we still be able to purchase them individually? Thank you!
