Today is Alyssa and John Websters' six-year wedding anniversary! They are celebrating with a weekend away, just the two of them, at a local vacation rental property.

DeleteAll the married couples go away by themselves several times a year. I didn’t have any family around when I was raising my children and finances didn’t permit cruises, anniversary get aways, or babymoons. In fact “babymoons” hadn’t become a millennial trend yet. But, it would have been nice to have had those luxuries. Happy Anniversary to John and Alyssa!

DeleteWow! How many people can make several airplane trips to Tennessee, go on a weeklong cruise without the kids, and then take a long weekend (again without kids). All in six months! This couple is doing well!

DeleteThree trips in six months. Two of them were away from their kids. Have you taken two trips without kids in the last six months? They went on a kidfree cruise for a week in December, a trip to Tennessee in February, and this long weekend without kids.

DeleteWhen my kids were that young, I was developing stress-related health problems. Vacation times may have helped alleviate that.
DeleteWe were at their wedding and helped bring refreshemnts for it. May God give them a very special time together and good health to Alyssa.

Congrats to John and Alyssa. Ellie, do you know why Amazon Prime pulled BUB from viewing? I don't get UPtv, so I would pay 99 cents per episode to watch. The last episode that I was able to watch was two weeks ago when Kelly and Gil visited Alyssa and John in Florida. Also, is there another way to view the shows without paying a monthly fee?

I've tried n tried to watch their recient shows because now I can't get Uptv. I've went to uptv/Bates and they are to show recient shows!! All I ever see is from and all I can ever see is shows from the very beginning ofctheir airing. Ive already seen these. I want to see this past season. Can you please help me?

ReplyDeleteAfter her health issues be glad that they could get away. They have big families who were probably glad to watch the three girls so that they could have some relaxing time together. I hope Alyssa is recuperated, but also slows down on having more kids, at least for the time being.
ReplyDeleteAlyssa has made it sound like they’re done having children, which makes sense with the heart issues she’s had. Maybe they’ll adopt sometime in the future, but who knows, they might enjoy having a smallerfamily.
