Kelton Turns 25

Happy Independence Day to our American readers! We sure are grateful for our freedom. We also want to wish Kelton Balka a blessed 25th birthday.

      11:42, the stigma of being a "teen mom" is when it's an unmarried teen mom. Josie is a married woman with a baby.

      Being married doesn't change the fact that she was 19 when she gave birth. Married or not, numbers don't lie. Nineteen is still a teenager and in my opinion is way too young to get married and have a baby. When I was 19, I was having the time of my life in college and enjoying my independence.

      "Teen moms" are a "thing" because of the unmarried stigma. Josie has already been to college. She finished her program of study. Then she got married, and then she had a baby. Her choices have been a lot more responsible than most teen moms.

      It's only until the current generation that having a baby at Josie's age became an issue. She is in a happy, loving marriage. Just because you may not want your child to have a baby at 19 doesn't mean you need to judge he. Judge your own life, not that of a young woman who is loving her husband and children.
