Isaiah's Golden Birthday

Happy birthday to Isaiah! He's turning 16 on the 16th, which means it's both his golden birthday and his sweet 16. Between birthdays and an anniversary, the Bates family has 5 special occasions to celebrate in October. Three down, and two more to go.

      I've heard "sweet 16" used for 16th birthday parties for boys too. It's 2020, traditional gender roles are thankfully a thing of the past in a lot of areas.

      I am so glad traditional gender roles are not strictly adhered to now. I can wait till the day scientists find a way for men to maintain pregnancies and give birth. True equality.

    We (fans) get just a peek into the lives of the Bates. Every child's personality comes through. I have always been fond of Isaiah - he is on the quiet side and an all around good guy. (Who knows, he might be the Bates that courts a Duggar, may be Jennifer who appears to be a very sweet you lady.) Shoulder shrugg
