Happy birthday to Isaiah! He's turning 16 on the 16th, which means it's both his golden birthday and his sweet 16. Between birthdays and an anniversary, the Bates family has 5 special occasions to celebrate in October. Three down, and two more to go.

ReplyDeleteHappy blessed 16 birthday and many more 🎂🎊🎁🎈🎉
ReplyDeleteHope he had a good one.
ReplyDeleteBoys are not "sweet 16"....girls are.
ReplyDeleteI've heard "sweet 16" used for 16th birthday parties for boys too. It's 2020, traditional gender roles are thankfully a thing of the past in a lot of areas.
Delete3:55 amen, yes it's 2020!
DeleteWhy not? I've heard it used for guys.
DeleteI am so glad traditional gender roles are not strictly adhered to now. I can wait till the day scientists find a way for men to maintain pregnancies and give birth. True equality.
DeleteYou think men would be able to endure 9 months of pregnancy? 😄
DeleteAre you serious anon 7:22? There’s a reason their bodies were not meant to have children! Geeezzz
DeleteHave a very Happy Birthday Isaiah! I love your name and I love the way that you treat your mom. And you remind me of Lawson with the way that you look.🎂
ReplyDeleteWe (fans) get just a peek into the lives of the Bates. Every child's personality comes through. I have always been fond of Isaiah - he is on the quiet side and an all around good guy. (Who knows, he might be the Bates that courts a Duggar, may be Jennifer who appears to be a very sweet you lady.) Shoulder shrugg
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday to you Isaiah!
ReplyDeleteAre these really the best images you could find of him?
ReplyDeleteIt's great to see pictures of him enjoying his role as an uncle.
DeleteI’ve never heard the term “golden birthday “ when your age and date coincide.
ReplyDeleteI'd never heard it until I was an adult, long after my golden birthday.
