Another Bates baby will arrive soon! Alyssa has almost made it to the 36-week mark and is due on February 17th. Did you know about the Bates family back when Alyssa and John were expecting their first, Allie Jane? That was six years ago. Allie was the second Bates grandchild, and Maci Jo will be the 15th.
In addition to sharing this positive news, we wanted to take a moment to thank you all for being loyal readers. We truly appreciate each and every one of you, and we appreciate what you bring to the comments section. ReplyDeleteAlyssa sure enjoys being a mom of girls, more matching clothes and shoes to buy when this baby arrives,with 15 grandchildren already and 16 in June it won't be long before the Bates grandchildren tie with the Duggar grandchildren!

DeleteI'm glad to hear that she is going to wait at least two years till the next one. (And that there may not even be a fifth at all). That shows good judgment! Nothing wrong with birth control, it enables us to have the number of kids we can care for!
ReplyDeleteAccording the Webster’s blog, Alyssa’s pregnancies are very difficult and debilitating, due to persistent and severe nausea throughout. I wouldn’t be surprised if this were her last one and I wouldn’t think less of her for it.

ReplyDeleteI'm excited for John & Alyssa. Joe & Kendra Duggar are due in February also. I can't wait to hear & see both there announcements, gender reveal parties. Also the births of Joe & Kendra's Duggar's on counting on season 12 & Alissa & John's Webster's on bringing up bates on season 10. Yes I remember Alyssa being pregnant with Allie Jane. ReplyDeleteCongrats Alyssa. Can't wait for Maci Jo to arrive in just 1 month.😁 Your due on my cousin in-laws due date too( also a girl as well😊). Hope you can have a few Bates family members come down for the birth. Sad though that since your due 3 days after Valentine's Day that you guys can't travel to TN for the annual Bates I Love You Day celebration. But maybe you can have an all family get together after the baby is born this Spring. Look forward to the new season of Bringing UP Bates this Spring(hope UPTV announces a date soon🤔).

ReplyDeleteWe know Maci is due soon and we also just learned that Charlotte (To Tori & Bobby) is due in June. Then there are Whitney & Zach's AND Josie & Kelton's babies due in June. Perhaps they discuss their choices with each other(?) My best wishes to everyone.

ReplyDeleteMy youngest granddaughter (5th grandchild from my 5th child, I have 6) will be a year old on February 17th so that will be exciting if Maci Jo is born on the same day. Will be praying for a healthy baby!!!

ReplyDeleteThank you for the update! John and Alyssa are my favorite married couple. They seem so independent and so focused on their little family. I like the Bates, but these two are special. I love how they are a little more out of the spotlight, which makes their updates even more special and exciting. With some of the other couples it seems like they put every thing out there, which takes away from the specialness. Praying for a healthy delivery.
