We enjoy eating Cincinnati chili dogs, manwich & tacos for every season premiere & season finale since 2015 of the very 1st season. I enjoyed the videos above they were very interesting. Natasha b

ReplyDeleteI agree with your mom a little; they seem to be changing their priorities from focusing on Jesus first and others/things second. But, there is so many shows worse than the Bates; I hope your Mom can realize that and allow you to watch again!!!
DeleteHaley, You seem so excited about Bringing Up Bates, and I feel badly that you aren’t allowed to watch it. If we were talking about some of the unethical tv shows that tlc promotes I could understand. But I don’t really think that the Bates are as bad as your mom thinks they are. They are humans being humans, just like the rest of us. I don’t think they could have a serious negative impact on your life. You seem like a young woman who knows right from wrong and wouldn’t be led astray by a negative example. If you like the show that much, maybe you and your mom could watch it together and have a sensible discussion about it. Have your mom explain to you how her religious views differ from theirs. Respect her right to her own views even if you disagree. Maybe together you and your mom could come to enjoy your time watching and talking together.

ReplyDeleteTry Shine TV. Currently on at 7pm Monday-Thursday. They just showed Kelly Jo's eye surgery. Still a couple of years behind but hopefully we catch up fast!
