Happy 18th birthday to Warden Bates! He is Gil and Kelly Bates' 13th child, which means the Bates now only have six kids who haven't reached adulthood. When we first met the Bates family on UPtv, Warden was only 11.

ReplyDeleteWeird comment. His tv time was a minor portion of his life. Warden seemed to have no problem with screen time.
DeleteThe tv show has provided opportunities for Warden and his siblings that probably wouldn’t have been available to them if the family had not been on tv. If you have ever met Warden, you would quickly see how well-adjusted and “healthy “ he is. He’s a wonderful, happy, likable, caring young man.

DeleteSo many reality TV stars spend their childhood on TV, and everyone thinks they're fine because they seem happy. However, this doesn't tell us what they are really experiencing. Later in life, many complain about the lack of privacy and intrusiveness of having cameras film them in their homes. Getting to go to trampoline parks and cooking classes doesn't make up for this lack of privacy and invasiveness.

MO- As far as siblings go- I don't know why but IMO, Warden and Carlin are very much alike. When ever I see one, I think of the other. So weird. Happy Birthday. Nice picture of the guys. :o)
