Katie Bates and Travis Clark
As a musician, Travis Clark has spent plenty of time in recording studios, but he recently released an especially personal song that played an important role in his engagement. During his proposal to Katie, Travis performed an original song, appropriately called "Will You Marry Me." It is now available on iTunes,
Apple Music, and
Spotify. If you missed
our post last month, Katie and Travis plan to tie the knot in December.
And speaking of love songs, Lawson recently wrote another one of his own. You can probably guess who it's about. "The Way I See You" will be available for purchase on July 14th, 2021.

Lots of talent in this family!
ReplyDeleteTravis has several Christian songs that you can find on youtube....he is an awesome singer/musician
ReplyDeleteHow come Lawson and Nathan's gf's aren't posted with them above, but Katie and Travis are before they are married?
ReplyDeleteAww sweet
ReplyDeleteOh my! Listened to Travis' song on his YouTube channel the day after the proposal episode premiered on TV. It was beautiful. All the Bates songs written for courtships, engagements, and weddings are my favorite. They are all on my personal music playlist on my YouTube channel. Looking forward to hearing Lawson's new song in 2 weeks.
ReplyDeleteWhy do they try to make money on these songs? Aren't they personal?
ReplyDeleteWell, he is a performing musician . . .
DeleteYes, I am sure that it’s a personal song and very sentimental to them. Travis has an amazing voice, and why not share it with the world if he wants to? He’s not the only artist to ever put a song out there that has sentimental value to him there are several. 😊
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, it’s a beautiful song, created from the heart. I can see why Katie was so moved by it. But Travis is a songwriter and musician. It seems like that is his profession. Why shouldn’t he release it on various music outlets for profit? It doesn’t diminish the beauty of the song. Musicians all over the world, and in various different music genres write and release highly personal songs for profit. Why should Travis be any different?
ReplyDeleteYes, I happened upon Travis' YouTube channel and it kept on playing after clicking on one song. Led to Christian songs of all my time, and some before. Very therapeutic.
