Sad news for all you Bates fan! Thursday's episode is the season 10 finale of Bringing Up Bates. On the bright side, it's a one-hour show, so that's something to look forward to. The focus will be Katie's Florida engagement.
9pm ET8pm CT: Due Dates and an Engagement Getaway
With Whitney and Josie’s due dates quickly approaching, the expecting
moms meet up to dish about motherhood and work on a craft project for
their nurseries. While preparing for a flight lesson, Nathan confides in
Lawson that he’s hoping to propose to Esther very soon. With
Nathan leaving the bachelor squad, will Lawson be on the fast track to
settle down? Meanwhile, Travis is hoping to surprise Katie with a
destination engagement in the Florida Keys, but can Gil and Kelly Jo
keep suspicious Katie in the dark about the plan?

When will the new season start?
ReplyDeleteI am so shocked. What is the reason for the short season? I don't understand at all. There are too many members of the Bates family to not have enough content. This is so sad and I always care just a little less when they do this. Last week was an hour also, but repeats we have seen many times already. Love the Bates but am a disappointed fan.
ReplyDeleteTHANK YOU FOR SAYING WHAT I WOULD'VE SAID!!👍
DeleteON UP CHANNEL THEY HAVE STARTED BRINGING UP BATES BACK AT SEASON 1 EPISODE 1 TODAY IN THE RERUNS THAT COME ON EARLY IN THE MORNING.. IN WATCHING THE RERUNS I NOTICED THAT THEY HAVE A WHOLE LOT MORE 1 HOUR SHOWS. So many of us love and support this family I hate to think that they may be tapering off from filming as the children grow up and leave the nest.. I sure hope not!
Crazy question but Jenny H is your last name Hayes?
DeleteI would have to agree, so sad for the short season I really enjoy the show a lot They have a wonderful family and would seem to have lots of content with a family that size. I sure hope that UP will still do Bringing Up Bates. Will see!!! Love the family!!!
DeleteChildren are suppose to leave there parents start a life of there own college work and etc . why would you hate to see them tapering off the show? Its the cycle of life. One question I do have dont any of these adult children or ones still @ home have friends?
DeleteI think Whitney, Josie, Erin, Michaela, Tori and Nathan are done with having their lives invaded by reality TV. I think this has been planned long ago and that is why Alyssa, Carlin and Lawson are banking in on their fame as high-dollar YouTube influencers. That is clearly their main income and they enjoy the spotlight. Next season will probably be just specials featuring the two weddings. Everything comes to an end and much better to end this way than in a scandal.
DeleteThis is not a criticism, I just have a question because I’m older and really don’t understand Internet Technology. How do people make money off blogs and YouTube? I know for some people, their YouTube posts become very popular, but how do they actually make money from it? Thank you
DeleteThe adds make the money on the YouTube videos often, but invested you tubers also have sponsorships that they give reviews or good words on stuff and get paid for it.
DeleteCongratulations to the newly engaged and to the moms who have brought home their little ones
ReplyDeleteI will really miss seeing new episodes of the Bates every week. But I’m sure UP will have them back for more seasons. I do hope they will go to a 1-hour format. I forget that it’s generally only 1/2 hour and am surprised when it’s over so quickly.
ReplyDeletethat was like litrally the fastest season ever! they didnt even do a part b like they usually do.
ReplyDeleteI agree!
Deletethat was such a fast seaon that was only 10 episodes. season 9 had 23 episodes.
ReplyDeleteI'm absolutely shocked by this announcement!! A SOOO disappointed.
DeleteI am too!! It would be different if they had like an hour long episodes but they don’t. 🥺🥺
DeleteIs there going to be a new season of bringing up Bates in 2021 and when is it please it is a good Christensen show and is only one of a few shows that is worth watching
DeleteAlso you tease us with watching them grow up we want to finish watch them all get married and have kids all the older ones that is
DeleteIt might have something to do with covid or other illnesses in the Bates family or the crew filming.
ReplyDeleteWhy would Kate be surprised we all knew the would move forward with the relationship.
ReplyDeleteBy shortening the season I hope that doesn’t mean they are phasing out the show ☹️
ReplyDeleteHow absurd, showy and ostentatious. I miss the old Bates.
ReplyDeleteWhere is a anyone showy? What bates??
DeleteHaha, like Zach taking Whitney to Florida to propose before they ever had a TV show?
DeleteI agree. Back in the early seasons, it was refreshing to watch a large family pull together to make ends meet yet still enjoy good times. These unrealistic proposals and outlandish get togethers are making them unrelatable to the vast majority of viewers. Reminds me of another "plus 8" reality show... what's next? Australian getaway birthday parties or Hawaiian wedding vowel renewals? I mean come on, you can fault them for enjoying their success but at least try to play it down...
Delete10:40, Zach and Whitney had a destination engagement too, and they were not a TV show. That hasn't changed. He set a precedent.
DeleteI would imagine the reason the season was shortened was due to restrictions on filming. I love their show and still enjoyed seeing the families :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats. Cute couple. Katie looks a lot like Erin..
ReplyDeleteWow, that sure was a short season...seems like it just got going again! But they have had a lot going on and maybe they need a break for themselves. Will look forward to the announcement of the next season and hope it won't be too long!
ReplyDeleteI hope very soon!!!!!! 💗💕💗
DeleteI'm not into the over-the-top proposals with all the planning and even a cameraman. I think there's something special about a proposal being an intimate occasion. But they're a cute couple and I wish them the very best.
ReplyDeleteI am also not fond of over-the-top proposals, but they are at least better than over-the-top requests to begin a courtship!
DeleteSo true @9:40.
DeleteI have not been able to watch any of season 10. They all cost money separately.I have up tv. It Evan says season 10. I Havnt had to pay to watch any other season. Any clue?
ReplyDeleteI hate the the season is ending so quickly. I love love love this show and this family. I so look forward to every Thursday night. Congratulations to Travis and Katie, they are so quite.
ReplyDeleteYes I think it's a VERY SHORT SEASON. I love the Bates. Up tv renew the show ASAP
ReplyDeleteIt's over they are done 10 seasons and they ready to move on enjoy the reruns!
